Was struggling to beat Boss #4, until I read another poster's advice to use all moxie on that level. Well, it worked. But why? The hero/monster stats don't make sense to me in terms of strategy, but I may be missing something.
Decent foundation, but a little ambiguous in some areas. I got stuck in a loop of not having enough workers to start a second craft, for example, and it wasn't clear how I got there or how to get out of it.
For some reason I'm having a huge case of deja vu, like I've seen another game focused on sweets and candy. Crushed that I can't remember what that other game is.
Really enjoying this game, but the "legendary loot" in the villages doesn't seem worth it. Very expensive, and basically useless equipment each time I've tried it. Won't fall for that again!
Anyone else have issues with the "Punch Centurion" not always registering a bulls-eye? The regional score will show the hits (e.g., 3/15) but the score multiplier won't, and those "phantom" hits will disappear sometimes too. (The centurion clearly crushes the platoon or ship, btw.)
Tip on rivers -- you can click on other squares while fishing. Which means at times you can click on several rivers at the same time, and clear out other squares while waiting. Saves a bunch o' time.
We can't go back to the original village? But I have crops growing there! I just had my cabin redecorated! My village mistress is going to wonder where I went ....
A bit too complicated to jump right in, and some aspects aren't ever explained fully. I can see the potential, but there needs to be a little more work on intuitiveness.
Okay, I think you kind of answered my question, but maybe phrasing it a bit differently: Does playing an event (such as the carnival or the singing contest) impact the main game at all? To me, it seems like there's no connection.
Notes to the devs -- when you make it improbable to clear a screen rather than just challenging, it stops being fun. Others have suggested this happens around level 160, and that is true for me as well.
Pretty decent overall, but just a little bit too rough to play much more. A number of little things (too numerous to mention) that were on this side of frustrating.
