i dont get the achievements..

i start the game, i spawn; it runs fine. i go deeper, and after a short while it starts to be really slow. the plus thingy near my character follows the ways of my mouse after 1 min of being idle. is this normal?
The reticule (crosshair) starts lagging with the game because it can't keep up with your mouse movements.
