lennonluiz0907: You have to get 2600 ft by using a nitro at ~2450-2500 and aiming straight down. If nitro is active, then it doesnt cut you out until nitro expires..
WTF, i beat the game and not only did i not get the badge, but it deleted my profile, so i cant even retry the last mission to try and get badge again. 1/5
I think the recent update to add air friction rendered E-16 impossible. I compared to the walkthrough and the spinner no longer spins far enough to wedge somehting in it in the correct spot. Personally i thought the game physics were fine (though a bit persnickety) before the recent update.
@ekimekim: Thats not a valid solution for puzzle 8, is why it didnt accept it (fails row and col #3). The numbers do not simply count the total in each row or column they also tell you abou thte relative distribution. IE a '3' does not only mean 3 pixels in that row, it means 3 consecutive (that is how it is different than say a '1 1 1' or '1 2', etc).
I love picross puzzles and some of the 20x20 and 25x25 ones are quite challenging. I especially like the way the strategy alters slightly when you throw in two or more colours..
Best lvl to farm money is 17, not 19. Its quick, and against hte intial guys who follow you around fight them until you get 150k chain, then take a hit to break it right away (+5k gold), and repeat that up until the miniboss at the end of the level. You shoudl be able to get 4-6 such chains at least if you are good at not getting hit except on purpose. Against mini boss, if you good at dodging you can maybe get another 150k chain. I managed to get 70k gold a run very easily this way - more money than i could easily get on 19, and level takes half or less the amount of time (annoying having to watch cutscenes though).
jmtb02 games are near to the best on the site. 5/5, and id give 6/5 if i could cause its so creative.
best time: 2:39, first place, for now (i dont think anybody else has noticed what i noticed about how to save time, scores close to 2 minutes should be doable)
I love jmtb02 games so much. always short and sweet and with interesting or novel gameplay. One idea for a sequel would be to add yelow lights (ie you can turn a light from red to green instantaneoulsy, but to go from green to red it spends 1-2 seconds as yellow after you click during which time cars treat it as a green), or you could add intersections with cars that will want to turn left or right.
fantastic game, anybody who writes it off as a loops of zen clone (or way too easy) is selling it well short. Once you get to the big grids and lots of mixed colours and such the strategy is way different than loops, and cleverly challenging.
to everybody stuck on level 34 (either harmony or inferno), the secret is that you never want to balance a plank on a single point (ie anywhere on the starting circle). The X is great to both grab the circle in two places, so X will not shift, and then to create a two poitn support for your balance plank (harmony) so that you wont get caught waiting forever for it to finish (my best: 908). On inferno, you actually put the palnk at the top cause you can never balance a single circle on top of a flat surface unless its rigorously stiff and level - it goes X, ball, X, plank and easily solved.
The consecutive zilch-free games/wins awards are nutso improbable. Only way to get those is to quit games if you zilch, and even then i can barely get a zilch free game 10% of the time. Personally i wish it was awards for 'total' zilch free games/wins (and maybe make the total more) so that i could still finish the games and bank my dice rolled / poitns scored amounts. Fantastic game, overall.
For the challenge, it counts finishign the replay of a level as a new 'completion'. I got the card having only done 5 unique levels
What an excellent TD game, i thought nothing new could come ot the genre, its like a TD game and a bejeweled style puzzler in one package. 10 stars (out of five).
easy startegy to get 5 days on this (requires only minor luck):
you need basically four things band/launcher (obv), rocket fuel (thrust optional), and at least 1 parachute. Shoot stragiht up and try and hit any platforms you easily can get right away to get a high max elevation (multiplies score). then engage parachute and float downwards, collecting coins by careful use of rocket (avoid platforms unless you have spare parachute). time multiplies score also so if you get high elevation max and long time its a geometric increase in score. Keep upgrading launcher/band (and rocket fuel) to get them to max and you win by shooting straight up. Before you have parachute, you need to just sink as much money as possible into band/launcher upgrade for max elevation and try and hit as many plats as possible to extend time. Note that high horizontal velocity seems to translate into high vertical velocity when you hit a platform.
