Lovely game, more than worth the 5$. I'd like to see equipment that changes more than the base stat and a less repetitive end game, though. Still 5/5 due to the story.
Health bars should always be visible. Especially bigger guys and the damage appearing right over the bars make seeing them pretty much impossible later on. Otherwise nice game, way better than the previous for it stopped being a mixture of nothing but waiting and clicking. The waiting part could still be way smaller. How about you start with a full army? This would shorten every game by nearly five minutes with no drawbacks I can see. Also speed upgrades for extremely slow units in the next part, please!
I'm sorry, but monsters getting stuck problem doesn't seem to be solved. Just as well as the even nastier problem of the character getting stuck in motion. He oftenly just keeps running on until the end of the map stops him. This is really great fun, if it happens to you before a boss wave, while trying to move all your towers from the left to the right of the map (the boss' way). especially if both bugs make you lose an otherwise ridiculously easy level about a dozen times in a row... also sometimes pausing the level only shows the menu, but does not pause the game.
how the hell can it be, that even on easy i am forced to actively help my defenders, as they are too stupid to defend themselves? >.< what use is a solid line of flame throwers and another of nail gunners behind, if they are too damn stupid to hit the most dangerous enemies? i stopped watching the game for like thirty seconds and 15 of my people were down - on easy! >.>
the fact that you can't buy potions for it renders the whole idea of having a pet useless. at the latest in the fifth area you just can't sustain it, if you don't want to keep going back to the inn until you're five levels stronger than you should be. also as the k.i. isn't THAT clever, it should be way stronger or be able to take more damage.
There should be a second chance to win all Trilobyte Keys. It's highly frustrating to notice after 26 hours of gameplay, that you overread the third sentence of the badge's description...
