Awesome game, very well done, except that the controls need a bit of work. It's a small thing, but it does get annoying when I have to retry two or three times to get a simple jump, or when I have to restart due to accidentally walking under the statue I just dropped.

Gold is an illusion. By the time I reached level 16, I was earning maybe 200 gold from a mission, while items in the shop cost 10,000 - 20,000. Conclusion? Once you pass the early levels, gold doesn't actually mean anythign anymore - the real currency is crystals
Pro tip: ranged attacks are useless - most of your time will be spent in dungeons, where it is so dark that by the time you are close enough to see an anemy to aim at, you are already in range to swing a sword at them.
Could be fun, except that you sell back for 50%, which means you can't just buy things or try different layouts, you need to carefully plan, that takes all the fun out of it.
The tutorial while loading is a great idea, and the absorbing enery from bullets makes for an interesting dynamic. The only problem with the game, is that the music is horrible! It's like, low quality arcade music.
Excellent game, very well done! I particularly like the heroic difficulty - incredibly challenging, yet still possible, a perfect balance. Only problem is the hydropods; they are seriously underpowered, and the upgrade is too expensive; The game might be better if you just drop them completely, and maybe reduce the upkeep cost a little.
I've given up on the hydropods. Since it seems like I need something like 4 hydropods for every trooper, there's no way to keep up - I just have to keep expanding and hope I win before I run out of food.
Once you get over the creepiness, it's a very fun game - althoug the later levels are too easy; I expected the difficulty to incraese, but it stayed pretty constant.
