I had to redo the final level 5 times before finally killing the demon boss, thanks to the irresponsiveness of the game. The trick was to slowly tap your keys (not too slow of course), even when tapping left and right, don't mash your keyboard.
Since you guys are so obsessed over Diya: it's like poker. Poker's mostly luck too, but that doesn't mean there's no strategy involved. The thing is, you have to make the optimal best move possible based on your current situation, just like in poker, to profit. This is because luck ultimately evens itself out, and with a dominant strategy you will be able to come out tops. You don't neccessarily have to have the best of luck to be top in poker, though it's always better to have luck on your side.
OrangUtan: During the beta phase I got my first card at 127 WINS. While times may be different now, you should not be complaining when you haven't even won much yet.
durstalph:
1) it's now 3%
2) the main mode of earning cards is supposed to be the weekly challenges, unless you play super often. The challenges used to be the only mode of earning cards.
3) you will not get duplicates from wins unless you have 46/46
4) Cards should be distributed randomly, just as CCGs where you buy packs from the store. You don't "choose" what cards you want to have, only those that you want in your deck.
5) If you use kong points, Jayisgames will probably have like hundreds of cards.
toyomoyo: what do you mean? Your character is always the one on the left, no color coding is needed.
curtis: This is a beta, for heaven's sake. Stop spamming the comments section with your unconstructive comments.
NG: I think the win/loss rate, or the rank points, is motivating enough for you to keep trying to beat the highscore board.
RonMiguel: 1) you yourself repeated lucika's comment, you have no right to accuse others of copying you. 2) don't just suggest a change, state your reason. Almost no one cares if you don't have a compelling argument.
Those complaining about the 2%: don't forget, this is KONGai, so by right the main factor comes from Kongregate's games, hence the most reliable source of winning cards. You're already lucky that you can win cards; this function was only implemented some time ago.
For those who want more than 46 cards: 1) it's only a beta. Give it time. 2) With 46 cards, it's already hard to achieve a balance. With more cards, people will only play top tier cards, making lower cards useless. This essentially reduces the number of playable cards. Then you guys will come back and whine about how the cards are badly balanced.
Jman:1) possible, but there are arguments that you should pay the price for making moves on impulse. 2) feast of blood is already a confirmed 30 HP gain in your favor, assume no switchout/kill. There's no reason why it should be further buffed.
pwnzor: don't forget, the people at kong also have their own motives. The current challenge system is designed for you all to visit the game pages frequently, which means more revenue from ads. They won't mind making more money from a Kongai shop.
SMC: then everyone will spread the word on where the easter eggs are, then the easter egg cards will no longer be special.
muzzz: A card with no labels is an original card you got from playing older challenges. R1 = re-release, a card obtained from playing recent challenges. K = a card you won from the 2% in-game.
pwnzor: well it's still technically free, since you may still obtain the cards through free challenges.
4moo: please read the options menu before complaining in here. also, don't you see that big fat button on the bottom left of the main screen?
DS: it lasts over 4 turns, take advantage of it. Also, you should try not to get hit by it in the first place (i.e. switch/changerange). It costs 80 energy for a reason.
PLTB: When you AFK and let the timer run down, it defaults to "pass" on movement phase and "rest" on attack phase I believe. And then after a couple of timer ticks you enter 45 second mode, if I'm not wrong. But it's gonna be really irritating to have to wait 60 seconds for a move anyway.
siek: since when were there 300 cards?
perloothebold: agreed, but how should it be balanced, such that it doesn't overly punish those who unintentionally disconnect?
KW07: some ELO system where winning against tougher opponents earns you more rank.
td21: take advantage of it now, to test strategies with a dumb AI that can't change range.
plix: if you're talking about Rumiko, then too bad: that's her innate, you have to deal with it.
seik: Like what? 2.01%?
FGG: Probably because the official game mode is 3-card.
