Great game. Finished on my first run as a warrior; wasn't very challenging until the last few levels (no spoilers though), but fun nonetheless and definitely got the feeling I couldn't just rush through stuff.
One thing that would be nice though would be to get perks for finishing the game or even reaching a certain level, some kind of points gain like Cardinal Quest has. That would give the game a lot of replayability value. But overall still very nice and a lot of improvements from the first one.
Thanks for the feedback! Your now my number one example when people say: "Games to hard! It's impossible!". I haven't given much thought to end game achievements so that's something to think about. Does Cardinal Quests perks make the game easier essentially after you've won?
I actually want to temper the comment I left earlier. While the lag is definitely terrible and disappointing given the level of the graphics, the game is still worth playing as long as you just idle your way through and give up on manually clicking.
The lag is insane, makes the game unplayable; and that's across all three main browsers (FF, Chr, Saf). This game runs worse than an 8-bit NES with equivalent graphics, dev you need to work on your coding skills. Besides that the game looks like it'd be fun to play through, but the lag just kills all the pleasure.
Thanks for letting me know, but I wasn't really able to reproduce that bug. I fixed another bug in the newest version regardings how popups are opened and closed. Maybe this is related.
Please tell me when it happens again.
Maybe (probably) a dumb question but what are videos for? Just started buying "buildings" and everything starts idle-ing except for vids, which I click manually but I'm not sure why I bother since they don't seem to do anything money-wise. I mean…I assume we're trying to maximize money, right?
Yes... Money, subscribes, and likes (In order, probably) are your top aims in this game, Videos ARE able to buy some of the important stuff, like the Blockbuster Site and maybe an upgrade or two, but it's probably completely optional. However, in this game, it is the Tuber's goal to get the most videos! Also, videos can not be gained in any idle way, except getting (1/sec) with a BB site, which is probably notably a small amount. Edited to add: The mechtokon 3000 multiplies video income by 10.
Correction about the "Your X spells have a chance to increase Y upon crit". They do work, just not the way I expected.
Point about essences still holds though. Ever time I "Absorb", I basically make all my spells of the element for which I have the most essences, and it's kind of annoying to have all the other essences be effectively useless...
- The Essences seem kind of useless to be honest. Once you absorb, you just get all your spells of the element for which you got the most essences, the other ones become completely useless, unless I'm missing some dynamic.
- Also the skills "Your X spells have a chance to increase Y upon crit" don't seem to work. Had one of them (chance of increased damaged for fire spells) at lvl 29, never increased dmg upon critical hit.
The skills that give you a "chance to increase X upon critic" don't seem to work. I have chance of fire spell increasing dmg upon crit at lvl 29 for an 87% chance, and so far it's never worked and my spells crit all the time...
This is the very, very basic shell of a game that could have a lot of potential, but for now it is mindnumbingly boring and lacks any kind of backstory, motivation, context, etc...
Is there a way to see the lists for launchers, stages, etc…once you've already purchased one?? As it is right now it seems once the slot is taken, you don't have access to the list anymore and just get the upgrade screen for the one you currently have. The problem is that you can't tell whether you have enough money to buy something better…I'm thinking this might be something I'm missing because I know the dev is really good with UI design.
Nice game. Good design, lots of upgrades. However, while the game runs smoothly with few enemies on screen, it starts lagging a LOT to the point of becoming unplayable when there's a lot of enemies; my archers were still stuck shooting at a spot I'd abandoned with my pointer 10 seconds before and the game must've been running at 10 frames/second the whole time...
Been said already many times, but...traveling kills this game. Obviously it's designed to artificially extend the games life, but with an otherwise good game like this it's sad to see it be ruined by such blatant tactics.
Very nice game and very well coded (thank you), but waaaaaaay too easy and especially too short. Last boss is extremely underwhelming; you can just get him stuck behind the police car, switch browsers and come back to see him dead a few seconds later...
can't seem to find my save on a different browser :( Started on Firefox but it lags like a motherfukker, so after a while I tried finding it on Safari (logged into Kong in both browsers) but my save isn't showing up…Is there a way to find it / transfer it somehow or is this it for me
?
I'm not seeing the benefits of training in the units' stats, should I be looking somewhere else? For ex, my first infantry unit had 143 dmg at lvl 3. I trained reaction training a whole bunch and there's no difference, it's still at 143…same for his other stats, haven't moved at all.
Hello there! The stats you see for each unit are the base stats! I guess it probably makes more sense to show the final stats after adding all the extras! Going to change that for next update ;)
Ok, definitely a bug with the ship missions. I sent all three of my team on a the first ship mission and broke the mission every time, and now none of the characters is accessible for battles, they're all greyed out, even though the ship mission has been cancelled...
Greetings, Bitornade. Thank you for your assistance in making this game better.
This issue will be fixed in our next patch. For now all your characters will be available after restarting the game.
I think there might be a bug with the ship missions. I sent the thug on a ship mission and then cancelled the mission once i understood what they were, but the thug is now inaccessible to put in the group for normal battles.
