"Hm, Sir, how are three men with no Anti Tank gear gonna defeat a tank?" - "By standing in a house with indestructible parts" " But, Sir, how are we gonna defeat it if the shoots apart the house?" - "Then we will stand firm, and shoot at the tank" - "Yeah, Sir, but, what if we are lyin' on our backs and can't fire at the tank?" - "Then we will shoot in the air and yell bring it on, and hope some of the indestructible parts of our house are covering us to the point that the tank can't hit us!"
Very good game: Simple and still quite hard if ye don't use tactics. Note cujoman123's comment. To explain how effective, no IMPORTANT the TNT is: After losin' fer the third time on second level, I started gettin' annoyed. Fourth try. I'm on the last wave with one life left. I know I won't win this. Then I read cujomans' comment, and use the TNT. And win. Easily.
Whatnow: 1: Have a strong tower (I prefer crypts with fear or freeze) in the beginning to make the ninja drop the smoke bomb. It lasts 5 sec. 2: Have a Ballista or Catapult paired up with the first tower. It often gets a hit with the splash effect. 3: Have some strong towers where he loses his invisiblity. 4: Blast him with meteors all the way. That's a general way to get them easy.
Love the balance of this game. How replayin' previous levels to beat yer score rewards ye by increasin' yer wizard level, while playin' forward gets ye through the game. Unlike so many RPG themed games were ye are rewarded fer grindin' the same monsters over and over and bloody over again.
How is the wizard leveling set up? Does experience equals score? Fer example, if a maximum map level score, fer example 120.000 points, does that give a maximum of 120.000 exp? Or is it solely based on beatin' yer previous score several times?
Gotta say I'm not in agreement of the weapon order: Ares and Spear, the two last, most expensive weapons are to me useless compared to Chaos, as Ares has a too small clip to be truly effective, while Spear's rebound sucks both because the shots never rebound into other enemies, and the power of the gun is too weak. First buy Raptor. Then get Chaos. It shoot through the enemies, and has a good clip size.
"Gamewise" this would be 5/5, but it's seriously bugged: I get "zero units lost" every map I win, even when I do lose several. In Le Marteau The enemy runs OVER yer walls on the left side. Cannons upgrade is useless, as it doesn't improve them, either range nor fire rate. Plus it's too easy. Maybe it would be more challengin' if ye did'nt get all those achievements in the easy levels. (I mean, of course I tried them first, to get the hang of how the game works. But when I then tried normal levels, I simply had too much money in the beginning and too many +10% and +15% fire rate, damage and such that the levels are a cakewalk.)
I will not play at King.com. But I would'nt dislike it if I could buy the extra features on Kong, as Bloons TD has done. Purchaseable content has come to stay. But tryin' to force ye to play on other sites is BULLSHIT!
Amazing potential. But as liecenstep says, the gun is ineffective, the lightshades sometimes ruins the gameply, and sometimes enhances the gameplay. The body of the guy is too still. He looks like a ragdoll that floats rather then walks. There is just a few bugfixes and gameplay fixes, and this will be a 5/5 and fav from me. Nice works, just a little haste to get it on the web?
