Overall, kind of fun. Controls are "wildly inconsistent" as jjackrabbitt put it. I'm on Level 40 with the red dudes set to jump and I'm just watching them sit there on the side of the box and they will NOT move. A few levels are challenging, which is good, but almost to the point where you have to play the level 4 billion times, which sucks (level 37, I'm looking at you!). Promises a walkthrough, doesn't deliver. 3/5
I don't mind the puzzles. I like them, actually. But I'm stuck on level 45 and I'm just not able to solve it. And it's reeeeeeeealy boring doing the same level over and over. Sorry, Bart; I'm out.
Nice concept. Almost made it to the end but got bored with the "guess where I put all the scenery" bits. Wouldn't be as bad if there were checkpoints. I just got bored playing the same level over and over because I missed one platform by a pixel.
Meh. Fun until you get stuck playing the same three screens over and over with slippery controls, variable hit boxes on spikes, and a jump button that doesn't always work. Maybe checkpoints? Once I get the little pill thing that opens the door, maybe I don't have to do that crap again?
Decent, though the controls are very weird. ASDW is okay, but I'm not left handed and prefer to use arrows, but only LR arrows work. So I'm playing LR arrow, WS? Weird. I strongly recommend checkpoints as well. There are some nice challenging spots, but ultimately I stopped playing because I didn't feel like doing to boring easy spots over and over and over to get to the challenging spots. Also, R= restart and your restart cut screen does not need to take that long. Maybe I'll come back later and see if you made any tweaks.
Before you waste your time trying to get bingo with the different types of animals/numbers, etc. Bingo = nuggets only. Probably should have been obvious, but just in case it's not...
I really wish this game had checkpoints so that once I do solve one part of the puzzle, I don't have to keep doing it over and over when I get to the second part that involves controlling that uncontrollable bat.
Yeah, up arrow = jump. Use of the spacebar creates an unnecessarily awkward configuration. Fun, but a couple of levels were so tedious, I finally gave up on the last level. Just wasn't willing to play that level over and over again. Checkpoints would help that.
Oh yeah and in the boss fights, I think we'll give you a gun that only fires five bullets before overheating with a 10 second cool down time. Meanwhile your enemy can fire all they want.
The least you could do is a restart button so when I miss a pixel and my other four lives aren't going to matter, I could just reset and try again instead of having to wait for the floaty monsters to kill me.
This game seriously needs more checkpoints. There are too many spots where you need three lives to get out of the room and the next room doesn't have a checkpoint and you need three lives to get out of that room. It results in excessively tedious gameplay. Boring as hell.
If you're going to make me to this fart around switch back and forth pixel hunt while firing and switching mid air the least GD thing you could do is let me use my frickin' dominant hand to move. And why is it that sometimes I'm firing with my right hand and sometimes with the mouse. Weirdest controls.
