Hold the phone, so this mad scientist shoots bananas into space, and then tells you to collect those same bananas...and you give them to him so that he can shoot even MORE bananas into space?! This seems...twisted.
1) click "support us" for 4 free stars (don't even need FB or twitter) 2) For Red Guy, upgrade explode and speed first to spam bombs. Add piercing for spider eggs and healers in the back. Last stages, aim up and only click halfway repeatedly to create a falling wall of exploding, piercing arrows. 3) For Green Guy, put one in poison and one in multi-arrow before maxing speed. Last stages, you'll be spamming so many poison arrows that the boss will be a joke. 4) For Blue Guy, upgrade electricity and speed to spam arrows at the bigger or more stationary targets. Last stages, also aim up and create a wall of electricity that NOTHING can get through. 5) Re-spec for challenges. Increase damage and multi-kill powers when you only have a few arrows. Remove multi-arrow when missed arrows create enemies. Increase multi-kill and speed powers for tiny enemies. Increase power and speed for headshots. NEVER increase fort HP for challenges. Then re-spec to play normal stages again.
Wow, wish I knew about the pause-button earlier. Makes things SO much easier! I always start out building a reactor, and a couple of barriers, and then just go at it building awesome ships. If a barrier gets destroyed, just pause and recreate it.
GREAT game. but seriously, why is there no filter button for recipes or legions? There are filters for items...it wouldn't be that difficult to do the same for the rest.
If he plugs up a volcano, doesn't this mean that he's actually creating a WORSE calamity when the pressure underneath him reaches a critical mass and explodes?
What's obvious is that Archers beat Infantry, Infantry beats Spears, Spears beat Cavalry, and Cavalry beat Archers. What's not obvious is that both generals are just overpowered Infantry. So if you don't have the right "counter-soldier," just default to Archers and retreat often, allowing both your "extra" archer and your tower to defeat the general a few times to give you the slight advantage to beat the level.
For those of you who are finding it time-consuming to grind, just keep in mind that you don't want your geek to hit the ground EVAR until you've run out of hit tokens. It's idealistic to try to do ONLY Hell Raisers, but the timing is pretty darned difficult when you fall from a great height. It's better to hit a lil' too soon and do a Meteor Smash (which will make it easier to do a Hell Raiser later on, and will keep you going at a high speed) than to hit too late and hit the ground. I can max out all of the characters within a couple of hours using this technique, and from that point on it's easy to collect enough money to buy the good items that allow you to complete all of the challenges.
Somebody can't math. I have all achievements except for "Unlockeddon!" which requires 300 achievement points, and you can only get 270 achievement points max. Achievement fail...
