To grind: max out crit chance and crit hit damage. You'll either win really quick or die really quick.
For achievements: eat as few times as possible before the respective battles, and always save at least one chef coupon to get ingredients for the secret recipes. Easy-peasy to win 20 battles in a row after you get the Day 30 Triumph achievement, so wait on that one.
For boss battles: Max out dodge and special (and combo if you're a physical build) The only exception to this rule is the 2nd to last boss, where you max out special and stun instead.
Fastest way to grind? Max out your critical hit chance and your critical hit damage. 55% chance to crit hit and 520% damage gives me 3K-7K damage on a purely physical build. I can probably do more damage if I had a psy build using Classic Fireball
Hmm, you know, I wouldn't mind that it's a copy of Burrito Bison so much if it added SOMETHING. Like, a powerup that Burrito Bison didn't have, or an animal hit that Burrito Bison didn't have. But honestly, this is just a re-skin.
Actually a very easy HARD badge to get so long as you spend ALL of your time avoiding enemies. Ignore blades, ignore armor. Those powerups are so rare so as to be useless (the only exception is the level with constant blade powerups, and the level with ZERO enemies). Just keep avoiding everything, and you'll get a million points easy.
Me: [attack building] Troops: Oooh, look, a civilian! *slash* Me: [attack enemy] Troops: What's over here? Let me walk past the enemies, allowing them to stab me in the back! Me: [move forward] Troops: Hey, what's back there? Me: [facepalm]

I have to say, even though the token system is overly greedy, this game is great without the token system. Once you accept that it's impossible to access certain parts of the game without using tokens, it's actually quite, quite fun.
