OK, here's the main problem with this game. It's a bullet hell that does a bunch of things different from other bullet hell games without explaining what the heck it's doing. It's top-down. How? Who is swinging him back and forth? If you get touched once you lose your gun until you pick up another gun upgrade. How are we supposed to know that? No tutorial! You can collect gun upgrades up until your maximum purchased gun upgrade. Again, no explanation. You can purchase lives or extra HP, but if you lose those you lose them FOREVER, whereas when you purchase gun upgrades, you keep those. Why is this not explained? All of these features are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from other bullet hell games, so need to be explained if you're going to diverge. 3/5.
This is not a "copy in a good way" of Monument Valley. It's a direct ripoff, from the graphics, to the font, to the music. There's a difference between an "homage" to a game and a full copy. Shameless...
@blackbeltx2, it's impossible. After 850, your drill starts taking massive amounts of heat damage. I have all of the items, and the farthest I can get is 1050
In order of importance:
(1) Support Call - You can go through most of the game with just these. Spam multiple calls at every boss
(2) Lasers - They will be your bread and butter through the first parts of the game. Riffle Guns will always be useless, and Rockets will only be useful after they're upgraded past level 10
(3) Shields - They'll keep you alive during most of the bosses until you get support calls
(4) Grabbers - Always have 4 on your ship, and slow down so that they can fill up. Later in the game, you'll want to relocate these to the right-side of your ship so that your mothership can pick up your goodies when they get destroyed by bosses that ignore shields
- around Danger level 12, you'll need to relocate your cockpit to the bottom left or right-hand corners when you reach bosses that ignore shields
Thanks! :)
