Kinda of a strange difficulty curve... the first 5 ranks are easy, the 6th is medium, the 7th is pretty difficult, and the 8th is very hard. I do like the game though; it's a new concept and it's executed well.
This is a pretty good game, although like others of the genre it becomes annoying having to search every corner of the map looking for that one damn key. I did like the final boss though, and the music reminded me of the music in the old Donkey Kong Country games. :D
Okay, I just got the glitch where I can't select any character on turn 3. This has happened twice today. Please fix this glitch, it is incredibly annoying when going for challenges and/or diamond medals.
Occasionally, past turn 10, I can't select any unit for a single turn. I mean that as in actually cannot select; I can't shoot, switch alert mode on or off, or move. I've tried clicking on the unit and on the unit's name on the character select area. This cost me a gold (and silver) medal on level 10 and made me fail the next. This is a very annoying bug and it would greatly improve my experience if it were fixed.
I finally got the impossible badge. This badge has taunted me for so long. I just barely scraped by (509,500) and exited at exactly floor 100. Just a few tips: once you get to floor 65 or so, you start getting very high-risk-high-reward rooms. One of them is a vertical shaft with some thin crumble blocks and little side passages with a crapton of gems in them. Your goal should be to get the hell out of that floor, using a gem powerup if you have one. Other than that, if you see any rooms made almost entirely of crumble blocks that have a lot of pogo punks in them, DO NOT go for the white gem that is certainly there.
I finally beat the Time God! :D I only have 89 star points though... there's no way I'm 100-percenting this game due to my keyboard being unable to register holding A and S and tapping right as the same time (in Hole In The Ground pro), but I'll have fun getting as far as I can! :D
Amazing game! I love the new achievement system, the game still has it's charm even though it's the fourth one, the songs are better in general, there are new, less intrusive effects when you hit a note, and you play a pro version of each song instead of there being different ones. Also liking the massive increase in difficulty from amateur to pro, although I can barely get gold on Switch vs. Evil-Dog Round 3 on amateur, lol. The only bad thing about this game that I can find is the atrocity that is In Love With Myself.
How do you complete the challenge on The Divide? I've completed it with 30 extra waves and 25% more enemies all with double health without getting it. Do I need to set it to full settings? 50% more enemies? What do I need to do? I have a wizard champion with the talent tree maxed.
That's strange. My champion missed an enemy with a 28% dodge rate four times in a row. It hit it, moved on to the next enemy, and the exact same thing happened. Three waves later, it misses five times in a row against an enemy with the same dodge rate. Am I really unlucky or are the percentages bugged? :x
This was a very fun game. It was a little strange having A ans S being focus and jump instead of Z and X, but whatever. Also, the medium badge was a pain because for the levels (I think there were two) that required you to break glass by focusing down, due to my keyboard, I had to jump, focus downward, release down, and then hit S again. :/
There was originally supposed to be another 10 in Santa's workshop but I ran out of time. Next time I will make sure I have enough time to finish a seasonal game.
No quick restart button? Seriously? You could have at least made it so that there was another button similar to abort that didn't make it so you had to generate the level again, which is, although faster, still annoyingly slow.
This is very good for a TD game. The only TD I've rated higher is Ghost Hacker, but that's beside the point. I haven't played with music so I can't give an opinion on that, but the levels are well-made, the difficulty is great, the graphics are solid, and the enemies have variety. The only thing it lacks is story, although I admit that might be a little tough to ask of a TD. 4/5
This game is AMAZING. The physics work well, I haven't found any glitches, the difficulty is great, and it has an option to change controls. So few Flash platformers have that option. ._. You should add more API stats if possible though.
The glitch happens on turn 3 of every mission or just a specific one ?
