missile - good at taking out mobs at long range, weak at close range
pulse - good at taking out tiny enemies at close range, useless against mother ship
Tesla - good against mother ship, useless against mobs of tiny ships or missile etc
pulse and missile defense is pretty good combo. normal laser can be use but need constant repair and lots of it. only few Tesla is ever needed even at the last boss. power is really the main problem of your defense failure. you won't see it until you have to fire non-stop for sometime.
it would be better if you know exactly what energy level is needed at full fire. this flaw is exposed when up against the boss. alternative is build lots of storage, but i don't really know if a storage is better than 2 solar power. suck to have to keep restart if you get your power all wrong.
map move does not work. so darn difficult to move your fleet. u have to scroll all the way to your destination n click to move fleet. some ships don't auto attack planet. keep clicking attack just won't do.
i got dc while doing a mission. now i can't do the mission be cos it won't let me accept it again. by right, it should show the next mission, my game is over.
terrain should play a bigger role in damage n range. each level should further your range attack by 1. right now higher level only affect damage deal or taken. also your attacking should be based on direction you facing unless you are a backstabber.
undo button is necessary. rotate screen is needed be cos you cant really click sum tin directly behind another thing. clicking many times will undoubtedly do the trick, but it is really bad. speed the game by maybe remove sum animations. overall a fun game to play.
nice game but not really fun to play. i prefer the air traffic chaos on NDS. airport too near edge of screen. planes suddenly appear n cause accident. planes that appear should not crash with planes on landing run. not much space to maneuver n sudden appearance of plane doesn't help either.
starting in the south island seem better than in the north becos u waste few days trying to cross the sea in the south. played with Nagasaki n finish in 25 days. done in 27 n 29 with Yamanashi n Hokkaido. should have an option to remove the double click thingy. also units should b able to auto move through many perfecture, not just 1. sending reinforcement is really not worth the hassle. never doubt the usefulness of covering fire in helping tilt the tide of battle in your favor.
even when the boss is dead, you still have to capture the remaining island to end the game. pretty lame ending. should have some statistics for you to enjoy.
woot...29 days with Hokkaido. Knights n Hades is a deadly combo. Earlier on use speed against range attackers so your knights can rush across. Use attack up if encounter enemy knights. Knights have longer melee reach, so a few step back will allow them to inflict damage without taking any. 1 soldier lab n then 3 strategy lab is all u need to unite the lands. u need max labs against ???. rest build giant magnetic field. i recommend building covering fire in all ??? province n also adjacent ones. u can also use ninja like knights. it would be nice to have some statistics at game end.
played with Hokkaido n finish in 38 turns. expand aggressively using only knight. dunno y ppl like amauri so much becos i hate skeletons. knight have longer reach than most melee units. pulling them back a little allow them to inflict n not take any melee damage. build soldier lab 1st n giant magnet until turn 14. then build all labs max n continue with giant magnet. place covering fire at ??? entrance to make invasion easier. giving giant splash damage is really a bad thing.
