So here's the thing. I can't build walls to funnel them, because they can kill walls. I can't build barricades to slow them, because they can stop to shoot them out of my range since we shoot the same. So all I do is make squares with dudes on in a row. If I ever lose a guy, he is gone forever so I am then more likely to lose the next wave. If they ever break through, then you are just hella dead next round. So if my guys had longer range then theirs (I'm higher), and their guys pathed around barricades instead of just killing them, and when my walls were broken I could pay 50% to repair them instead of having to build them brand new, then this would be really cool.
This is such a great engine but every game has the same crippling problem - zoom level. I never see enemy ships. I stay away from them so they don't kill me which means I am always shooting off screen.
