I crafted a copper hammer and it dissappeared, I think because I had a full inventory but crafting used up the last of my copper which was in a backpack so the game thought there would be an empty space but there wasn't. Later I had tools disappear when taking them out of my chest so the game is unplayable now. Too bad because I really liked it.
This game is the worst sort of pixel hunt there is. Random placed necessary items. Bizarre logic like a misplaced wall tile that opens a secret compartment when fixed.
I'm dying when attacking and killing an enemy and sometimes my arrows pass right through. If there is a strategy to avoid this it needs to be better explained because it seems like a frustrating glitch.
Take out loot sacrifice, it's just tedious and you could balance XP gain without it. Also give the character a big speed boost when no enemies are in sight and only slow down to combat speed when you can see enemies.
I enjoyed the game until I got to the well aimed explosions section in chapter 3. That kind of trial and error gameplay is not fun at all. Keep the focus on building creative structures, with more powerups for unusual blob types which will lead to creative combos. Avoid "puzzles" that simply require good timing or trial and error with explosion angles.
I like how the timing for every jump matches the music. Didn't notice until halfway through the first level. By the end of the third level I wasn't bothering to watch for obstacles just following the music.
Just got 100% and I've changed my opinion about my suggestions. In the sequel don't add a way to skip early levels but do add difficult opportunities to get loot in the early levels. They should be easy to survive but difficult to get 100% of the really good loot. That will keep even experienced players interested in the first sections.
I hate upgrades and am glad this game doesn't have them. Upgrades turn a skill game into a grinding game, I like my progress to be from my personal skill increasing. I would like to be able to choose the level I start on since the beginning is quite slow once your better at the game. The challenges are great btw, love the deadly path. Please DON'T add upgrades to the sequel.
Don't worry, we are planning to satisfy every players ! If we add upgrades, they will improve the game experience bringing new stuff, not necessarily making the game easier.
It's Arkanoid on steroids. I'm surprised no one has made a game like this before. Good job BeardShakeGames. Keep it up. More levels, enemies, bosses, upgrades to spend those coins on, more!
Should be fixed now, sorry about that
