I disagree with the complaints asking for grinding, but I think in normal mode you should have "free respecs" as in you can push a button to respend your silver and experience. You should also take the consumables out of normal mode since you can win without them. This should help prevent people from getting irreparably stuck without adding grinding.
I liked the game and the wall jumping is fine. But for some reason the controls got "sticky" later and I would jump farther then I wanted to and jumping would delay sometimes. This messed up the wall jumping and everything else which is why I think people complain about the wall jumping controls, but really it's a memory leak issue or something.
I don't think two new levels is worth $3. But I do think that the whole game is worth at least $3 so I bought the premium content as a thank you. I also really like that the bonus gold and spells can be turned off so we can preserve the well tuned challenge of the original content. Thanks again, and keep up the good work Ironhide.
I really liked the game. The fact that you have to keep running and cut through the enemies made it much more enjoyable then if there were limited enemies.
The best setup is LGM, Shotgun, Encaser. LMG for weak stuff, Encacer is one-hit kill on anything so use it on blacks and greens. Shotgun for emergencies. Make sure to keep moving forward and pick up all pickups and you shouldn't have ammo problems. HMG and Rocket run out of ammo too fast.

Suggestions: 1) Advanced Magnetism should allow troops to be unaffected by the bomb, right now 3 spaces is less useful then two. 2) Close combat penalty should start at 2 spaces away and be -40% when adjacent. Close combat talents should be increased to compensate. 3) Add extra fast aliens, but weak and extra tough but slow aliens. 4) Nightmare mode: Troopers have -1MP, -2AP, -20% accuracy, and -1 ammo clip. Aliens have +1MP. 5) I hope to see a sequel soon. :D

There are ways to do every level without split second timing. *spoiler* The final level, the angle of the top plank is the same going both directions so you should realize that you need to change direction just before halfway to get it to turn around before the end. *spoiler*
Overgrind was not a very good addition to this game. It took tedious grinding to unlock and offered no challenge when you have all the upgrades. Still the rest of the game easily gets 5/5, just offering constructive feedback. If overgrind was unlocked by just winning the game it might be fun.
