@hoboroto speaking from experience, you're wasting your time, especially since zombies are not stationary and you'd have to keep backtracking to go after those hordes that have moved into previously cleared areas.
@joeboats the menu contains a link to the wiki, which has several lists about various items and their locations. (Side note: if you're working on your escape vehicle, I recommend the glider since every required item can be bought rather than having to spend so much time scavenging.)
@jamba24 Getting the push and swim manuals only unlocks the push and swim abilities. You still have to spend a skill point on each ability to be able to use them. So just level up and spend a skill point on the push ability. Also, I recommend that when you get to the labyrinth cave dungeon, keep a skill point set aside for when you get the swim manual.
I find the customers' reactions to receiving their food to be a little ridiculous. Never before have a raised the roof just because someone made me a hot dog exactly how I like it.
@medicman87: With the endless cave and endless forest, the purple squares are simply there to point out that you're at the place's entrance. The locations aren't locked, you just need to actually move your character through the entrance and into the area.
@Darkninjalucian: I always thought those bolts and screws were parts left over from the building project. You know, like how you always have a few small pieces left over after putting together a bookcase or desk from a prefab kit?
Having boxes drop from monsters but being unable to open them without spending pramins on keys feels like a goldsink and a scam to me. I don't like it and I would have been perfectly fine without this particular update to the game.
@Canrex: Stat boosters occur in dead-end rooms after you clear all enemies from the room. The number of stat boosters per level varies by the level's layout, anywhere from two to six per level. So if you want to pump up your stats, it's highly advisable to clear every room in every level.
For those asking about the difference between the "hold button for shield" and "hold button for magic", it's timing. Hold down the mouse button for one or two seconds to block attacks, and hold the button for three seconds to use your magic.
@olorin: destroying/selling decorations reduces your happiness. Also, if you move a building so it's on top of cobblestone path, the cobblestone will be deleted and your happiness will drop.
I'm interesting in learning more about the mechanics behind the various ways you can die. Does "death by accident involving reward item" count as a single type of death or does each potentially fatal reward item (grenade/saw drone/box gun) count as its own separate type of death?
@everyone who uses the comments to post complaints which get downvoted into oblivion: There is a forum where you can post all those bug reports and nattering whinefests. I repeat, TAKE IT TO THE FORUM, PLEASE.
Its a bug. I will try to figure out why. It has been doing it for ever.
