people complaining it takes too long to upgrade or get cards are obviously the ones spoiled by easy-ass modern games that treat you like a retard by screaming at you "NOW PRESS X HERE AT THIS SPOT IN THIS TIME."
luck is something that is in all things in life, but you learn to control the dependence on luck. me winning 9 out of 10 hard matches is not luck; it is experience and adjustment.
1. you need a slower difficulty pace and maybe slower ship 2. the ship and cursor is unrecognizable, looks like the enemy 3. you need sound. if not sound, then at least a techno track to help gameplay a lot. 4. consider making things more visible, especially lasers and bonuses. 5. give the player a feeling he's actually doing something
I think I've encountered some hackers around the game. Maenian would be the one I'm currently playing... regenerates health, the only cards he has are 0/0 Lava Golems that can switch into Fire Spirits, etc. he's gonna beat me by card draw.
