I like the idea/theme a lot and good flash skill was displayed, so I gave you a 4... But you need to work on your actual gameplay. The solutions to your puzzles often made no sense and progressed the game very strangely.
It's like when you were designing this you told yourself "How can I take a good concept and make it REALLY boring? I know, make you do the same level 8 times in a row repeatedly!" That's essentially what it is. Snore.
This is what I hate about all the supposed DDR flash games. The notes don't match the music. Why? I can only assume it's because it's too hard to do. No excuse. The whole point of these things is to go with the music. It's lame any other way.
In terms of graphics and theme, it was excellent. But let's get to the not-so-excellent, shall we?
Firstly, it's linear. Really linear. REALLY LINEAR. Far too linear.
Most of the time you're guessing "What do I click next?", the answer to which is almost always "that random black shadow that looks completely insignificant."
It's really like it's just a movie with the game element thrown in as a poor afterthought. As a matter of fact, considering how random the things you have to click on are to make the story advance, I wouldn't be surprised if that's exactly what you did.
You must have been smoking something very illegal when you made this. I suppose "trippy" is a word that could be used to describe it, but unfortunately the word "fun" is not.
What does this game need? Variety. I can only "go across level, get key, go across level, use key, go across level, finish" oh... Well it's not that fun to do once, let alone 10 times in a row.
