I want graphs soooooooo badly. I otherwise agree that fancy graphics aren't necessary, but being able to chart production rates over time, with flags indicating when upgrades and/or populations were purchased would be a huge benefit.
"roundshot: Long-range ammunition that deals more damage as it travels further and gains momentum"...well, at least the game isn't tagged with "physics".
Certainly better than the 3.65 it currently has, but providing some more insight about some of the utility characters would've been helpful. For instance, the engineer, largely worthless. He won't be able to build a wall until halfway through the level when he finally gets his perk point.
How do you add a skill to your 1-5 set if you don't do it immediately after upgrading? I just got Poison Arrow and didn't assign it immediately to my skill bar. And now I can't figure out how to add it...
As echoed by others, I'm very impressed by the coding done for the snapping, but it makes the game too easy. Feels like a shapes version of color-by-numbers.
The premise is entertaining, but it's too repetitive, gameplay aspects are too distorted (like the ineffectiveness of weapons), and the reward system needs real work.
Thanks candlefrontin17! There's a strong chance there'll be a sequel with more levels with more challenge. If you have an iOS/Android device there's another 95 levels on those :)
The battles in this game can definitely get a bit tedious, but the interactions with the environment definitely add a lot to the game. However, I have to say the best part is the dialogue. "By the pilfered beanbags of 10,000 eunuchs!"
I gave the first one of these games a good rating because it was a lot of fun in spite of the terrible, terrible AI. But to see you release a second game with no improvements in this regard is really saddening. I just won a capture-the-flag round walking above/below the enemies with the flag, and was never chased. The round before, in a hold-the-flags game, my own units would stand just outside of range of an enemy flag, not capturing it, for no reason whatsoever. I had high hopes for this game, but am very disappointed to see that this fatal flaw has not been remedied and no other appreciable improvements.
Graphs/charts are on the to-do list! This is a popular request; might have to bump it up higher on the list.
