beside the monospace font, it seems every single update has actually made the game less fun to play. why are the equations so silly? newspaper should not be the cheapest in end game. i feel as though, at the same number of things, it would be natural for the difference between eg oil and bank to be linear, while the price to increase the number would increase exponentially. i really enjoyed this game and appreciate the effort the dev is putting in, but like... bugs. poorly thought out addition of features. it loads poorly, now, too... and i have a decent machine. someone else suggested making the upgrades just one button, so you don't scroll, but i think the best part about this game is the flavor text, don't lose that.
Thanks very much for your comment! It's a bit rough right now, but we're working on some fixes that we feel will greatly improve the game again. Right now we're focused on bug fixing and exploit squashing, but if you'll stick with us we'll have some new, fun End Game stuff very soon.
this game is amazing. i really appreciate how, though they may not be so finely balanced, a variety of builds and playstyles are viable for completing the most difficult difficulty. great game.
it'd be nice to know what buffs are active. also, give us a quicker option to get rid of equipment... it's a pain to drag it every time. either a similar solution to potions, shift+click, or one click to inventory, then a checkbox to convert to exp.
when people are 1/5ing you because your game is too short, i think you're on to something good. unique and fun puzzle game. my only complaint: on the 4th or 5th level a few screens relied on making a certain pattern and it felt a little guess-y.
awesome games! i loved the previous ones and this is just more goodness. nothing i would do to really change much, except some of the medium and hard versions of a level feel easier than the easy one, and yield more reward.
Riddle Master Achievements: #1 hit the geek up twice, then let him drop twice, #2 have a gold and silver bar at the same time, #3 click on the geek while he's walking back after a run, #4 click on the boards in credits screen, #5 use V-P and a geek in a girl costume
amazing game... i managed to find a bug, however. upon entering the second level (after being summoned to the workshop for the first time), i happened to switch to the eagle right as leo was about to hit the portal, and all the controls stopped working.
A lot of people missed how freezing the town becomes more effective as you have more power. Don't even bother holding "e" between levels unless you're over 70 power or so, or else you'd be wasting it. I figured this out at about wave 15 (until which point I was barely recovering lost health) and completed the game at wave 27. I didn't bother with the ultimate and the double jump, as they both consumed power.
