This might have been a good game, but after playing one level I gave up on it. Just getting to the upgrade/trap menu (which you have to do a bizillion times), takes about 2 minutes to watch the menu slide in and out (for the bizillionth time). Needless to say, this is extremely frustrating. The developers either need to speed up the gameplay or learn how to create a fairly simple flash game that does not take world class hardware. My computer may not be cutting edge anymore, but it should still be fast enough to play games like this on Kongregate (and has been). Speed up the gameplay and you may have a fun game; too slow otherwise.

@kenmendor512 I thought the same thing at first, but the problem was I was moving and so are the enemies (of course), making them move to fast to hit. Basically no kills = no ether = loss. Staying in one place between the space station and the mother ship made it much easier. Concentrate on upgrading your allies and your cannon first and the game really isn't that difficult, it just takes a while.

@LunaTesla The confirmation dialogs for a soft reset and a hard reset are different. While you may have accidentally clicked the hard reset button, the confirmation dialog should have warned you that it was a hard reset and not a soft reset; which would give you the option to cancel the mistaken click. That means you must not have been paying attention to the confirmation dialog as well and clicked yes to confirm. There is only so much any programmer can do to prevent user error. While moving the hard reset to its own menu might make this more difficult, perhaps you would care to explain why the confirmation dialog was also not enough to prevent your mistake. The developers did implement a fail safe...

@GameTommy Thank you for giving the answer about the business multiplier. Though if this question has been repeated so many times I don't know why the veteran players don't just up vote the best answer given so new players can see this. It is a legitimate question. Just to say oh, this was answered tons of times over a month ago so we will just down vote it like spam just alienates new players. I do read the comments, and look at the developer profile, and never saw anything about this. No matter how many times it might have been answered the answers must be so buried in the comment logs that few people will ever find them again.

@BurtToast01 I've asked this too but just get down voted. It has to do with the multiplier for buying each type of business. Some of the lower income businesses have higher multipliers than some of the higher income businesses (using cash per sec to account for time differences). It makes no sense that I can purchase an increase in a business that makes more cash per sec for less than purchasing an increase in a business that makes less cash per sec (other than perhaps the newspaper since this can increase profit in other businesses), unless this is something the developers intended. It would be interesting to hear their answer on the logic behind this.

So since my last comment got down voted so much (I'm assuming for my little joke at the end), let's try again. In my game, upgrading the Hockey Team from 400 to 500 costs 70.484 octillion and makes 60.416 sextillion per second. Upgrading the Movie Studio from 400 to 500 costs 9.769 octillion and makes 181.248 sextillion per second. Is there a reason that some of the less income producing businesses cost more to upgrade than some of the greater income producing businesses? Is this supposed to represent the fact that some businesses may be more expensive to run than others, yet generate less gross income, or is it an oversight by the developers?

So upgrading the Hockey Team from 400 to 500 costs 70.484 octillion and makes 60.416 sextillion per second. Upgrading the Movie Studio from 400 to 500 costs 9.769 octillion and makes 181.248 sextillion per second. Now where is the logic in that? Is this supposed to model failed business ventures as well?

Otherwise it would have been a fairly fun game, but I am not going to sit and have to replay the entire game every time I make a mistake. Not in this genre at least.

I created a ninja on a level by itself, then found out it is not able to kill any of the enemies in the time frame they are in range. Not only am I not able to restart the level, when I lose I am kicked back to the main menu and have to start over. 1/5 and I have NEVER rated a game that low. The developer really needs to learn to adopt some player friendly game mechanics to make the game more enjoyable, otherwise it is just a waste of time. At least make Diablo-style "hardcore" mode an option, not a default.

The developer needs to improve the custom drop rate (or make it automatic when a piece is missing) and increase the responsiveness of the controls. I can't count how many times I had to replay a level just to get a costume piece when the enemy would drop a fish instead. The same goes with dying or getting into an unnecessary fight just because the control was slow to respond to input. Otherwise it is a fairly fun game with an interesting concept.

This is a good game, but heavy on game mechanics and light on gameplay. The game consists of mostly a tutorial with some minor modes (time attack, endless) thrown in. Adding some type of level sequence or storyline would do wonders to make this feel more like a game then just a tutorial about a game.

People who are having problems with their search party dying perhaps should read the in game instructions more. Search and melee ratings are important, as is group size in determining if they are found or not. I don't think I got particularly lucky with the random generator, but I was able to beat this on my first time through without too many problems. Overall, I thought it was very fun, but a little too easy, if anything.

Let me see, once my monsters are defeated, I can no longer buy more from the hut and have to sell it to create more. I can buy an upgrade for more waves, but I don't seem to gain anything permanent from it, like extra gold. What was this developer thinking? This game may have had potential, but after playing it for a bit I am not impressed.

This was a fun game; it would have been even more fun though if it was not so dependent on timing in so many levels. That made it frustrating for a puzzle game.

I used all of the cheat codes available; 19 grinding days later I have won the game. I would hate to see how many days of repeatedly killing the same units this would take without the codes. While this is a fairly good game conceptually, the developers really need to make some changes to remove the large amount of tediousness present in the game.

This was a good game, the only real problem is that most levels were a bit too easy and that there is no point to gaining XP after about halfway through the game. Which means there is also no real reason to complete levels on Ultimate mode, etc. Otherwise it was a pretty cool game.

@lattocky Yeah this happened to me the first time I played (losing items). If you look at the instructions you only get to keep artifact items, magic spells, and stat bonus items when you exit the dungeon. So you need to always keep your best artifact gear with you at all times. Luckily, you usually find enough artifact gear to make something. Though you will probably need to exit the dungeon a few times at the beginning its best not to exit after that so you can always keep all your gear.
