I don't know if it was the last game Update, or Unity player update, but the response time in this game has really gone downhill in the last few days. Everything used to be smooth and responsive, now often it is choppy and unresponsive. Is anybody else having the same type of issues?
@Albynos What do you gain from conquered countries? 1) Gold 2) Troops. There is nothing wrong with Taigas help text in the dark knight reset. THAT is why you are getting your comment voted down.
@AlexisJ2 I see. Yes, the updates would be nice. I think we just have to make it sweet enough for the developer to get them. That's probably at least one of the reasons there is no ETA as of yet. Better to just not promise something then fail to deliver. :)
@AlexisJ2 The forum posts state that the next update will involve Catherine interactions; after that, there is some talk of another world to conquer for another update. The missions and buildings in other countries... who knows? There was talk of this earlier, but it probably depends on if this game still stays economically prosperous. You can't really blame the developer for not wanting to work for basically free, and even if they did, they probably still have bills to pay themselves. If you want updates, why don't you try to do something productive, like recruit more players to play the game, or donate to the developer, or something else that helps make it worth it to the developer to continue supporting this game, instead of just demanding it.
@CooperAchaea Yes, obviously this game seems to be modeled after Clicker Heroes. One major difference however, (that stopped me from playing Clicker Heroes), is that in this game the game does not have to be running in the browser to make progress. It looks to me like the developer put their own spin on the Clicker Heroes style of gameplay, made some enhancements (see above), and released their own game. As long as blatant copyright infringements are not made, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and more importantly, perfectly legal. :)
[If the world did not allow similar forms of ideas, it would be a much poorer place for it, because I guarantee almost any idea you think of has already been thought of in some form. Good way to stifle innovation.]
@Revenantchoir Are you clearing your cache or something? Usually these games are saved in Flash as a "Local Shared Object" which can be erased when the browser or user clears browser information like cookies, etc.
This game saves fine for me.
Hmm. 3 Sx to buy upgrade, 3 Sx available in cash, yet the upgrade is grayed out. This game really needs more fine grained display of purchase amounts. Otherwise, 3 Sx means 3 Sx < 4 Sx. Lame.
@funsizedkilljoy Put some of your workers on break. Just cause you are mining the hardest mineral you can doesn't mean you are still not going too fast for the mine.
Well, this is odd. I usually think players complaining about this cleared their cache or something and did not realize it. I had completed the game, and was just messing around (trying to buy 100 of each) and now my game has completely reset itself. I did not clear the cache or anything; anybody know why this happened?
@Athorivos A big "this is a demo" description in the game description isn't enough for you? Real subtle there. Perhaps you should just try reading game descriptions instead of trying to chastise the developer.
Clicker Heroes is a great game, we think we can do better :)
