I agree, I hate the rising tendency to add absurd badges to MMOs. Heros of Gaia, Caesary and recently SacredSeasons2 all take EONS to get, EONS of grinding. These badges here are okay. Doable within a few days, with reasonable effort, and not really beeing able to get stopped just because some random guy got a pick on you.
No more badges for boring, money greedy idle games please. 1000$ packs seriously, get a grip. Heros of Gaia and Dream World were enough. And for the devs, note how micropayments taken seriously only give you side perks, not "pay me money so you can deprive other players", stupid concept. A game constitued in a competition environment is destroyed by it.
To get the evades challenge this worked for me: kill all but the last 2 gunners, have the dash evade item, turn on bullet time, dash into the bullets, teleport away, dash into the next 2 bullets, teleport away, dash into the next 2 bullets, then kill em. You get the challenge.
What do we learn? First game developers are handsome and muscelous, game players are fat geeks. Second, you can hit an idiot as much as you want, he wont improve (or did he get any smarter by this?)
Never create playing difficulty by obscuring the interface, thats the dark side of the force! Otherwise the game graphics and sounds are nicely done. At the begging I thoutht, oh nice, talesworth arena style of mechanics. Playing it however it just doesnt cut it. There is a hugh list of things going wrong to induce fun, no sell back of units, no place to store em, keys from hell do not go over to heaven games, some hell games pure random as butan instant kills you (so you have to restart so until he just doesnt use it) Autofire is also no solution, I'd suggest either slowing things down, or going to round based, or have another good idea how to make a *game* out of the core, beside the nice makeup, which you are capable of.
To make money, play the first (real) level over and over, you get 116 gold for a fast kill.. Another questionworthy decissions IMHO that playing the 1st level makes more money than a highlevel one.
How to get brilliant on level 14, build a lot of crypt at top left, if the final boss comes down right, too bad start again, if the first hit doesn't freeze or panic the boss and makes him invisible then too bad try again. It is possible to get it, but its just random luck.
so kreds make everything easier, so why not make the bades buyable right away? Or put next to the kred the description "Im a less quality player as others, so I need to buy my way through"
I liked the game actually in beta already, especially I do like how woman are not depicted sexist here (altough some players try hard to change that for their character :-) In total the game is IMHO a tad too grindy (getting iron, scraps and the such)
