This game is a perfect example for chaos theory in action. Launching the fireball only a pixel more to the left can lead to a totally different trajectory. But this also makes the game a tedious exercise in replaying every level 10-50 times to get it right.
My Nightmare Achievement team: Self-created monk archer, imported monk archer and Jim (champion) for +1 dmg. Found this combination to be even better than 2 monk archers + Carrot. Ranged Monk is probably the strongest character. Rangers special ability ("never misses a shot") is virtually useless though.
Since there is some interest in importing save games from Armorgames to Kongregate, here is a quick tutorial for Windows 7:
Load up CT2 on Kong for the first time, so the correct folder is created for later.
Go to C:\Users\(your Username)\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\FlashPlayer\#SharedObjects\(Letter-Number-Combo)
There you should see a folder named "cache.armorgames.com" go there and then to "files", then "games" and look for the "Cursed Treasure 2" folder. STRG-C CT2_0.sol, CT2_1.sol, CT2_2.sol and now go back to the folder with the random letter-number combo. There you should look for a folder named "assets.kongregate.com" and the sub-folder "gamez". Now use the search feature to locate the folder with the CT2_0.sol etc. files inside. Go there and paste the files from the ArmorGames folder in it, rewriting the files there in the process.
Continue the game from your save point on ArmorGames. Enjoy :)
After 2 years in the premier league I still can't afford a cell phone, let alone a car, because I have to spend every cent I earn on shoes and energy drinks
Sit back and try not to focus on a single spot but on the image as a whole. That way you will quickly notice breaches of symmetry, i.e. the differences in the picture.
Excellent game. Maybe if the in-game badges gave some sort of gold bonus, that would be kinda neat. Would help maxing out the characters' abilities, since you will most likely have completed the game ages before maxing out all skills.
Ugh, finallly badges added, but my completed game is lost.
One more reason to not play a game right when it comes out but wait for badges to be added. -.-
Tried to play this, since it first came out (Windows 7, Firefox, don't remember which version I had back then), but the lag bug still persists. Meanwhile I have Windows 8 OS with all latest updates as well as latest FF browser (21.0). Flash version is latest to (11,7,700,202).
Same problem as ever. Starting with the 2nd screen, once the phone rang the lag makes the game virtually unplayable.
Is there a way to change the speed the boy and girl fall? Level 2 of "And she was running away" is unbeatable with the current falling speed as the girl doesn't land on the box but floats further and then dies once she touches the ground.
