After playing a couple of hours I guess high damage output is more important than high tankability. Back up units with high attack like Eagle Warrior, Feudal Knights with Healers and Archers/Wizards and focus on levelling attack over defense. Some extra HP/def on your front runners don't hurt ofc, but tanky units like Sergeant/Armoured Swordsman don't seem to be as important. You need to take out enemies fast or you'll get overrun no matter how much def/HP you have
Great first attempt! Better than many other developers 10th game. Looking forward to seeing more games from you in the future. Wouldn't mind badges on this
Thanks for keeping this epic, yet deeply disturbing saga alive. Played all parts and they are among the best point and click games I have played on this site. Also, they are mind-bending and really need you to think outside the box.
After conpleting the game three times with all 3 weapon/skill trees, I find the game actually grows on you. It starts out a bit tedious with lots of grinding and a confusing fighting system, but once you got the hang of it, it actually gets a bit better. Out of the weapons I found daggers to be the most tedious as the require running around and dodging a lot. Staff was my favorite by far once you got the piercing skill, even though it starts out really weak and slow. Obviously you should buy Survival Training, Iron Body, Shikuchu, Nimble Footsteps and Regeneration (best skill imo) no matter what skill tree you choose. Quick Learner and Soul Thirst are nice to reduce grinding, but I found Quick Learner to be way more valuable early on.
Argl deserves so much credit for releasing awesome games that are beautiful and addictingly good. I wish Kong had more developers producing games like this instead of the 100th micro-transaction idle game. The community can't thank you enough, kind sir!
Thanks for your kind words!
