The hot key for auto-progression has existed since about the same time as auto-progression, back in fall 2015. It's listed in the game instructions bar beside the game on Kong, and in the hot key page of the in-game Guidebook.
@zooeeman Ah ok, just had to crowd-check, probably just a streak of bad luck. Very bad! Lost a Rare guy. :( Trying to work up enough rubies to save him but my other mercs keep dying too, heh.
Has anyone else noticed the death rates on the questers go up? Mine have suddenly started dropping like flies, just wondering if maybe I've just hit some bad luck or if there was an actual change to the probability of them dying.
I have a peeve. This is an idler. I don't sit and watch it long. Enough to level up characters, reset the auto-advance, if it's a new "world" I'll watch the new enemies and backgrounds and quest descriptions which are cute. Etc. But I can't sit here babysitting the game for over an hour. And there's a Tier 1 holiday quest preventing me from getting to the Tier 2 stuff because I can't pay attention for that long. I have other things to do. That's why I'm playing an idler. :P I have it up in the background, I have it running 24/7 usually, give or take occasional Flash crashes. I've tried that Milk and Cookie Run about 5 or 6 times. Always ending in failure. I put 15-20 minutes into it, then have to go do something else, come back and... FAILED! Bah. Very frustrating. :(
@KavuChameleon: Lucky you! I haven't had ads working for me in months. Though I just tried again and the results were different: This time instead of telling me no ads were available pressing the Get It button didn't seem to do anything for about 90 seconds, then suddenly an ad popped up, I watched it, but I didn't get a buff. *shrug* Bummer. And mine was a terrible Timberland boot ad that made me not only not want their boots, but not want to bicycle nor visit big cities anymore. XD
When you offer the Golden Epic Gear cards could you please specify who they're for? +60% DPS to all Crusaders would be nice, but not so useful if it's getting equipped on Veronica, The Android Archer or RoboRabbit. I know some items are obvious who they would be equipped on, but some aren't, and it would be nice to know for certain. :)
The Golden Epics with normal Jeweled chests have all been for the base 20 Crusaders so far. I have reminded the designers to remember to include the name, but I'll have to try again. The Pocket Watch is for the Gold Panda.
Fun little game, except for the "More Games" button which takes you through a string of virus/malware-laden websites and popups suggesting you might have a virus and to call a 866# to get help, etc, etc. No bueno. DO NOT CLICK THE "MORE GAMES" BUTTON. I don't know if that was malicious or just that after 4 years the original dev's web domain was lost and re-appropriated by scumbags.
If you took this and attached it to a broader game where the weapons/armor actually get used by, say, an army/kingdom or adventurers or such, and added in a certain amount of customization (say, enchanting items with magics which also have to be researched), while at the same time keeping it an "idler", I think you'd have a serious winner here. Still, as is, I still like it and I loved the latest update with the arrows and popup windows, great ideas there.
Soooo... one of my favorite mercenaries died. I did some math and came to the conclusion that I'd have to spend $1,200 to buy enough Kreds to revive them. Worth it? It is a Rare mercenary...
"Your game runs in offline mode when unfocused." "The speed is 40% of the normal speed. Your vendors currently generate an average in come of $0 per minute." Errr, well then... I guess I'll find something else to idle at while chatting, since technically clicking into the chat window unfocuses the game and I'll never advance. First time I've seen this in an idler. Weird. Perhaps disabling that function for a few levels (or whatever passes for levels in this game) at least until 60% of current income is more than 0? :)
Thanks for the feedback, I will consider to change it to the default speed when unfocused as well. Haven't thought that visualizing the fact that the game runs slower while unfocused has a negative impact.
Meh, OK game, I've played worse. Ragequit on level 5. But it was outstandingly mediocre right up to that point. Looked like it had potential after 5... too bad the more fun weapons are locked until you get past that level. 2/5
Oh I have an actual legit idea! (for a change) How about an encyclopedia where you can see who fits what categories? You could either look at character profiles and see every thing they fit, or look at certain traits and see who has them. For instance, I'm looking at a mission right now and one requested trait is "Elf". I have no idea who might be an elf, unless it's an event character I never got. But that's just a for instance, such an encyclopedia would be wicked handy. I know, possibly more work than it's worth but I'd take a link to a webpage with that info too. ;)
Thank you for the feedback. In a perfect world we would have a little character description book with background and a little bio. We are considering adding the tags so that they are visible in other places. Drizzle, from Blood Bowl at the end of January/beginning of February is the Elf. There is a Crusader list on the wiki http://crusaders-of-the-lost-idols.wikia.com/wiki/Crusaders and the Crusader tag cheat sheet that a player made: http://sidben.github.io/CotLICheatSheet/
There needs to be a randomized auto-pilot, so I can just sit it to go and go do laundry or make food. Let it randomly press the red button for me. This would make a great idler!
Wait, is there no save or autosave feature? My daughter and I played quite a bit through yesterday, we enjoyed it quite a bit, but I just came back and... it's at the beginning again. Do you have to play it through in a single sitting?
