Wow, that was quick... barely go through the tutorial and now nothing happens, can't click on anything at all, it's just dead. It's just dead to me. I know the EW series has had it's fair share of bugs but ya know, when you make sequels they're supposed to get better about the bugs, not worse!
Geez, I didn't realize my computer could count this high. Definitely need some way to cut back on the clicking. At least some sort of +5, +10, +25 options or such. I think I'm damaging my left mouse button...
Bought a half-track. Put a medic, officer, and spec ops behind/next to it. Eventually upgraded to it with the mortar. The moment I upgrade it, it dropped a mortar right next to the half-track, killing everyone. There really needs to be a little better A.I. in terms of when/where to throw explosive devices... Perhaps a minimum distance away from the bottom of the screen? If a German has gotten past a certain distance, I'd probably rather take the point than lose the men.
Hmm... apparently spare parts for planes provide situational comfort... my engineer must be pretty ingenious to be making aircraft parts into something to improve situational comfort!
It's a good thing I really hate my mouse and have piles of cash laying around to get new ones. Otherwise I might be peeved at a game that requires excessive button mashing just to succeed.
Woohooo! It's about damn time! Excitement tempered by chin-scratching comments. I guess I'll see for myself... still kinda pissed about having to wait over a year after release to play here. Oh well, I'll let the game do the talking I guess. Better be pretty incredible to overcome the angst.
Not sure I'm understanding the appeal of this game... you go in with a finite amount of hitpoints, when they run out you die and start over from the very beginning. Am I missing something? And don't give me that "wings" babble, I've played a dozen times and never seen them, they don't exist. Of course, giving you a pair right off the bat or at least putting them in the initial vendor's inventory to sell for some amount that you start with would be thoughtful, but obviously not how it works. So... before I go ranking it poorly, which I don't want to do because it otherwise seems like a fine game, what am I missing here?
