Not entirely sure what's going on... but it's shiny and has pretty graphics. It does have some annoying sounds though. When I hit Z or X it just buzzes loudly at me. I kinda half-figured it out, more or less, but... it's not worth even getting getting the badges for. Ah well. 3/5
I love this kind of game. This one is pretty good, although it's weird, it pauses and lags like crazy but I don't have that issue with any other game I've played lately.
I can't believe I just wasted the last 5 minutes of my time getting that easy badge. And I can believe even less that this game *got* badges. They'll badge anything these days.
3 days? I know hard badges are supposed to be hard, but... how the hell do you do it in 3 days? What's the trick? Or is this just proof of what I've often postulated: that Greg sniffs glue while making badges.
Erm... might have a bigger impact if there was some sort of gameplay... but... you plow some fields, setup some cow pastures, get a cow into the feeding room and... bankrupt, game over! Wait, what? I think I'll go get a Big Mac just because this game pissed me off and wasted 5 minutes of my time. :) 1/5
Bosses do suck, especially when they're bugged like the Octopus. Lowering my rating. Had so much potential until then... I hate wasting so much time. 3/5
Great game overall, but the interface could us work, my wrist feels like I was actually dragging real bridges, it's killing me after just 5 levels. Overall though, not bad. Don't think I'll bother with more than the easy badge though, my wrist tells me it's not worth it, heh. 4/5
Haha, fantastic. Died on Day 2 three times in a row... then when I hit Retry I started on Day 2 being unable to fire my weapon. I could move around, but it wouldn't fire. Fun times, oh yeah. I think 2 stars is way too many...
Fantastic, one of the best puzzlers I've played in a while. Great concept, smooth execution, intuitive yet challenging (especially that last level, took for ever before it finally clicked). 5/5
Not terrible, but some of the games were literally impossible. Doesn't feel like "fun" to start a game and die before even knowing out to play it. Go figure. Oh well, neat idea overall. 3/5
(Part 2) Use the non-poisoning one's accelerate to fly past the enemy's flying wing, it should turn to chase him. Slow your poisoner down until it's turned completely, then fly him up behind the wing and shoot him. He can't shoot behind him. If you get too close to the wing, have it loop around for another pass or two. Make sure the non-poisoner stays safely ahead of the wing. Again, watch out for the left side of the map, you might need to turn around/rinse/repeat.
(Part 1) Finally figured out the trick to 1948. Fly the non-poisoning plane up and use it's accelerate special to get it ahead of the poisoning plane, at the same time, activate the poison. Get the non-poisoning plane to line up ahead of the poisoning one so they're in a line, fly them both forward dropping poison every other turn. Be VERY careful not to fly them off the map. When you get to the edge of the map, turn them around, making a long arc around, if any of the smaller ships are still chasing you, keep dropping poison. (the last one died for me as it turned with me).
Such a well done and professional design, yet no mute button... pretty basic miss, but ... it wasn't bad. It could've done with more action and more surprises. You know, like guys running in from the next room when they hear gunshots or just to ambush you. Some of the "What happens next?" makes no sense, like in Palermo after talking to Cosima, where do you go? I did figure it out after a lot of clicking and searching, but it's not like there were any pointers... Still, it was decent enough. 3/5 I'd give it a 3.5 if I could.
