Anyone complaining about level 7, or 12, or 19, go beat Nihil. Then we can talk.
This is the most pleasantly hard game I've played in a long, long time. You thought of everything - no death counter, excellent mechanics, fantastic music. It was hard enough that I celebrated upon completion but not so hard that I felt it was ever unfair. Please don't ever make a Steam version of this game. I won't be able to resist buying it and I don't think my keyboard can handle that kind of punishment again.
2 hours 17 minutes total, 1 hour 7 of which was in Nihil. >:[
Fantastically fun and hilarious, though short, game. Within seconds I had made it my goal to destroy all the cars - without even knowing about the badge XD
Detailed and mysterious game - quite the creation. Getting all three endings is worth it :) The game does badly need a way to skip text, though, especially for repeated playthroughs.
The idea behind this is excellent, and (in general) game design is great, if repetitive. The writing is often clever, if a bit sparse. I was forced to exploit geometry glitches to gain access to the bracelet, though, as I found no way to get to the bracelet normally. A sequel with better storytelling and level design would be fantastic!
This was certainly interesting, although the "funny" tag seems utterly misplaced. I'd recommend using a native speaker in the future to help you work with spelling/grammar issues. The story seemed simply surreal. If that's what you were going for, you achieved it, but from my perspective, the ending made no real sense. The attempt at involving Jewish mythology was interesting (we see it so rarely) and I'm glad you changed "Mr. Jew" to "Mr. Boss." Just because a racist stereotype exists doesn't mean it's ok to continue using it, after all :) In short, this didn't appeal to me, but I'd love to see another work from you in the future.
I felt like this one lacked what the first had: the simple, funny joy of playing. The first one was elegant: guy dies in funny ways, guy says something funny, leaves rich. This delved far too much into the annoying, repetitive aspects of RPGs (although I did appreciate having a goblin with 15 ears).
What an absolutely fantastic little game. I am deeply interested in the story of these two. You've made me form an emotional connection with four blocks and a pair of legs. More than once I wished I could just reach down into the game and say "Come here, little robot and sister. I'll be your big brother." Well done, designers. As soon as that ending happened, I realized that credits were starting to roll, and I literally said "NO. You are NOT allowed to end like that!" I can't wait for the sequel.
Ok, I'm sorry, this game's visuals made it unplayable. I could barely tell what was going on in each frame, and it was quickly apparent that it would be nearly impossible to find clickable areas. I hate this particular art style, so I'm sure that's part of the problem, but this style just does not work for a point-and-click game, which is based around finding items and using them on other items.
This was a FUN game. Brilliantly designed, excellent comedy, fantastic artwork, and educational at that. Although my brain fried trying to understand Kant's ideas, I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Well done!
