I am disappointed in you, Armor Games. This game is so pitifully easy and simple that the hard part about getting the Medium Badge is trying not to quit out of boredom. The scoring system is cryptic, and between the frequency one receives double-jumps and the monotone landscape with no difficulty curve, there is no challenge factor, heck, no *engagement* factor, to this game. I remember the days when I could come to Kongregate and play a fun new flash game. Those days were last seen when Epic Battle Fantasy 4 was released.
What on Earth happened to this game's mic quality? You can tell that all the lines from the original Kingdom Rush sound really nice, high-quality, very crisp. Then you get that grainy low-quality stuff from the new lines? I want to get behind that awesome "Blood and Sand!" line, but you raised my expectations and then failed to deliver. That being said, the game still has solid gameplay, and I like the addition of the Hero characters.
The inTensity of this game is utterly Tentalizing. Luckily I am a Tenuous person so I can make the time to play it.
Seriously, though, this is a great little puzzle game. It's engaging, but starts out easy enough that you don't have to work super-duper hard to play it. And the fact that there's more than one solution to every puzzle—love it. 10/10.
What would be kinda handy is if you had, like, an option, so if you run out of time on a Hard/Insane difficulty level, it automatically ends the level, treating it as if you died.
Neat game. Controls are unfrustrating, graphics are to be expected for just an idea, but there's one thing that irks me...when you die, it takes FOREVER to get spawned again. I would change it up so that Right-Click or something instantly respawns you. 4/5
Please, for the love of all things holy, don't erase everything on the plate just because we clicked the "X" button. I've failed several orders just because I forgot the dipping sauce and instinctively clicked "X" to add it double-quick, only for it to erase everything else I'd already laid out perfectly.
Dear Baddies: I know that I am the only girl on the battlefield, and I know that that, by some unspoken rule, that makes me really cute or something. But please, for the love of all that is holy, when you see me running towards you with a knife in my hand, please, don't just stand there and stare. Your troops might still be alive if you would run away or something--please, it'll make the hunt for you more exciting. Sincerely, General Roll, Good Team Spy. P.S.: Are you looking for me now? Try behind you.
I find it annoying and difficult to switch weapons as it is. Perhaps Q/E or the Mouse Wheel could let you cycle through them? Otherwise, this game has no notable flaws, and receives a 5/5.
Hehehehe!!!! Thanks chaos fantasy!!
