Personally, I don't see why everyone found the final boss so tough. The key to winning at BioGems is to play defensively--Ryu has low defense, 2 + 2 = 4, play as Pixel. Make the most of any opportunity you find while playing--if you suspect that they will attack (Read: You can see an attack match or you think there might be one), match that attack gem before he can or match some defense gems so the attack doesn't hurt you. Essentially, you need to alter between "mirroring"--blocking Master Squid's attacks, dealing more damage than he just did to you, or both--and "rushing"--scoring attack gems on the field before Master Squid can. Lastly, get all combos you can--Despite any impressions you may have, the bomb is useful because it gets you a little of everything, and extra turns are the most useful thing ever in this game. With enough persistence and a good strategy, you can win.
Guys, the sticking controls either means your hard drive can't keep up with this game or you're using the wrong browser. I run CF2 on Firefox, and the controls have never locked up on me.
Just a little peeve I have--using a body slam should always kill an officer. It gets frustrating to see being defeated in a tangle when I slam them with 200+ rocket-propelled pounds of muscle.
What this game really needs is for "J" to have the same effect as "D". I've missed so many yellow notes because of my thought process: "Yellow's left of blue--DAMMIT!"
Funny, I was thinking that the entire time. I had actually expected to see Kitty at the end; if you zoomed out, you'll notice the airship had cat ears on the top!
This game makes no sense to me. I'll just give it a 3/5 and start backing away slowly. I consider myself beyond humanity, who usually hates things they cannot comprehend.
I agree with vorest. This game would be much more fun if only it had a "fast-forward" button. ALSO: you can get so close to the respawn point of the Creeper that you might as well be able to kill it!
HAH! It's a rickroll inside a rickroll! Starbuck's an actual card, from the supposedly "coming soon" clan, the Pirates! You'd better get this card if you're a collector like myself!
I beat it.
Now, do you plan to expand on this, or will you try another crossover? Should it be the latter, I think Kirby & Pac-man would be interesting.
