For everyone stuck on the first castle: You only have to click the frontline units TWICE. There are no other units available, so don't waste time trying to figure out what's wrong. Click the icon TWICE and you are good to go.
198 seconds and I died once. Hit the checkpoints that are in your path but don't go out of your way to get them. Great game and a nice and challenging hard badge.
Wow, this game is brilliant. The subtly of the metaphor of shadows and lights, the perfect blend of dialogue and game-play, the simple yet elegant and effective artwork combined with a very fitting soundtrack; This game is wonderful!
Great game. I have been waiting a long time for this. Sadly, I can't give this the five I wanted to. There's a few things that let it down- the 30 pound storage case isn't sufficient, Only having two companions (Isn't much of an issue really). However, the issue of having Zombies break through a roof and swarm my companion and then having the game tell me that if I leave the room they will die but not letting me heal them in any way, is an issue. This aside, the graphics, weapons etc. etc. are definitely everything I have come to love from ConArtists games and in that respect, was definitely not let down. Great game guys overall!
I am glad there are more story games similar to the style of Alice is Dead series etc appearing here on Kong. It's a nice break from the typical games. This game has the right combination of everything- excellent graphics, solid-enough storyline, attention to detail, the dialogue is unique and has an amazing soundtrack to suit. Not too mention I am a lover of old-reel films, so the whole 'flickery images' and projector noise instantly won me over! Excellent game!
Really regret not doing the hard badge ages ago now...
Regardless, this still remains one of my favourite puzzle games on Kong. The right mix of difficulty with the fun of creating music beats!
Haters can hate all they like, but this is probably one of the worst games I've played on Kong in regards to the balance ratio of Luck. I did not lose a single battle until the final boss. Now, I will get him to around 115 hp and then every time he manages to score that stupid rainbow void thing and then choose all attack tiles and obliterate me from full health. Graphics and game play are good but I really have no genuine interest in continuing to try my 'luck' for the hard badge.
Ok, is this game not completed or has something gone wrong? I have completed all Tactician battles required for Medium badge, but only 14 dungeon and nothing appears on the map except the training tactician battle and sewer dungeon?? Anyone know what's up there?
Aside from my character not being able to move quite often after unlocking the Village Gate, this is a great improvement on the first. I am getting annoyed however that my player constantly gets stuck and the only way to unstuck is either use a castaway feather to return to the village or use magic of some sort. Also, an improved map schematic and crafting capabilities wouldn't do any harm.
The inconsistency of difficulty and the differences in movement speed from left-right, up-down really deters me from what could be a very decent game. Playing a level that was fairly easy, then doing a level that's insanely hard then back to easy just annoys me and ruins the game slightly for me.
Great game. But I must stop at 4/5 rating. So could be a 5, but the amount of times I keep getting stuck on the blocks just detracts from the fun and enjoyment.
The ratio of luck to skill is just annoying. Not too mention, the explosions on screen are pretty much irrelevant in the aspect of aiding in destruction. Although, these points aside, the game is still rather enjoyable.
One thing that really annoys me is if you and Andy or Brian depending on what game, score the same value, then they win and not you. Should implement a 'Spilt winnings' where you either get half of what you put in, or just the whole amount back because it's irritating to lose money when they technically did not get a higher score than you did.
I love the concept to this game. However, I'm on the 5th floor, second play through and I've noticed two things that could be improved on.
Firstly, No save. Honestly, couldn't there just be an automatic save in the menu if you wish to take a break and then resume from the start of that dungeon floor?
Secondly, I have some ring that summons a skeleton to fight with you. One thing that annoys me is the skeleton does not run at the same speed as my character, resulting in it always disappearing. Of course, doesn't cost much mana to summon, but would be nice not to have to keep recalling it. 4/5.
Never have I felt so silly in my life than when I spent 10 minutes trying to solve 8, and it turned out to be quite simple... :/ Haha. Great game though. 4/5 just because the super precise alignment of gap to shape is annoying at times.
My advice for the hard badge would be to just send out as many people you can to search for food and recruit. If there's a 1/3 chance of failure, then there's a 2/3 chance of success and in 'harder' mode you have to take the risk. Also, when you can, build or obtain a lab, train some scientists and research like mad. The sooner you can do the research that prevents crops going off, the much easier it will be to keep food in supply. =)
Thank you sir!
