The challenges are super annoying. Why not just let me chose what length I want to attempt instead of just giving me 30, 31, 32, 33, etc.
When you have a good formula, one meter is nothing.
As cool as this game is... I simply cannot get past the twitchy floaty controls. I'm so used to N (I have beaten every level) and yet Meat Boy feels like it's running at double speed. Some of the jumping requires absolute perfect timing which is near impossible with the speed at which the character moves.
Wow... Annabel or whatever her name is had probably the most horribly written lines in video game history.
And the forced humor with the sprites was facepalm worthy.
Interesting game though, very cool. It just really needed to have a more serious tone. I have done some cave diving, and the game mimics what the experience is like.
Level 21 is overly difficult for how early in the game it is. And you HAVE to pass it your first try or you will get stuck. Right now I cannot progress because I have to stall the ball as soon as the level starts and wait for the pink mines to disappear. By the time I get the ball moving in the right direction, they reappear.
Bullet time was really unnecessary. I beat the entire game without ever using it. I can see if it was like a shmup or Geometry Wars where you have a one-hit death it would be useful... but meh.
There are so many things wrong here... This game is as generic as it can be, STOP MAKING TOWER GAMES. The sound effects are terrible, at least there's a mute button. I'm not even going to bother getting the card this week.
I hate to say this... but using brown balls to infect the yellow balls seems to imply racial cleansing. in the future, I'd recommend using red and blue balls.
