I think there might be a problem with offline running.
I dont' leave the game open all the time anymore, cause I'm already at the top, but I still check in from time to time, and my money seems to go nowhere really. I've been in the ~20 qdcn range for days now. My AI are still going up, just not my money.
I have to be honest, the fact that the game doesn't progress when the tab isn't in the front, is a real problem. I have been playing for days and getting nowhere, cause I forget to put the tab up front when I go to sleep. And closing it and remembering it to open when I wake up will never happen. Playing in the background is a big deal breaker. Cause right now, that takes idle to a whole new level.
Ok, either I'm playing this game wrong, or somewhere around the 200-300 minions point, the pricing gets WAY out of control. I leave the game playing, and only have 40 trillion, but everything costs WAY more than what I have vs. what I make in gold. And the cost of the artifacts to swap is really high, forcing you to reset frequently just to try to make more.
Hi! I've been designing the game around "soft caps", the idea is that every time I do a content update (not a bug fix update), progression goes back to smooth, because I introduce a new feature to help you along. Next content update will be tomorrow :) (I don't like when idle games get designed the other way around, when devs push a lot of updates and then they move the goalposts, I think it is better to have the goalposts very well defined from the beginning)
Last night I went to bed and everything was costing in the millions. I let the game play over night, now everything is costing in the billions and even trillions. How did the cost go up when I didn't even buy anything?
I know asking why something didn't work on a Games8 game is futile, but how was the enemy able to place 3 turrets all at once, from the very beginning?
Ahhh, nevermind. Apparently my previous post about how the cost of newspapers seemed to go up dramatically in the last update was based on the fact that the upgrades are not moving around properly and I missed purchasing one that I had purchased in the previous reset. Everything's copacetic now.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I currently have 1948 Newspapers and it's currently saying duotrigintillion for one paper. At these rates it will take me forever to get them to 2000. Yet I just did that before my previous soft reset (which tripled my AI to boot) and the cost wasn't saying that much until I got to 2000 newspapers. Did the cost of newspapers change with your last update?
I try to stay on top of things ;)
