A great concept that gets bogged down by luck and having more money than the other guys. Having better cards means you will do better; that shouldn't be the case if you call the game balanced (maybe you do, maybe you don't). Either way, I can't even bring myself to finish the main missions b/c it all boils down to luck (getting the right cards, hoping my abilities activate / don't miss fliers and hoping his abilities do miss) and the odds are HEAVILY stacked in their favor... nothing that's truly 50% will happen 6 and 7 times in a row multiple times in the same session; the odds of that happening ONCE is 1.5% let alone twice in the same game.
needs a way to see what level your various power ups are during the game... is it just me or did I go from AV level 4 to AV level 1? that shouldn't happen when you get a pick up unless you warn someone first. Also seemed like my level 4 firewall just up and stopped at some point... do the power ups just run out? none of that is explained.
needs a keyboard setup option. none of the available controls work for me being a left handed person on a laptop with a trackpad. I use my right hand on the arrow keys and left on the trackpad; there's no easy way to change weapons that way. Maybe the ?/ key could act as a mouse scroll / weapon change?
broken game, shouldn't have gotten achievements... can I rate it a zero? Practice mode typically lets you practice your moves against an immobile opponent; not get the crap kicked out of you before you even get started. Broken game that should NOT have been released, let alone given badges... I hope they paid a lot of money to Kong to get this crap published with achievements.
the M key will mute the music, but the explosion sound effects don't seem to ever go away. Also, I wish it would remember my choice to mute between games.
Needs a death toll so you know how close you are to the 25 and 50 deaths achievements. Also, the kamakaze cells need to be shaded differently or have a sound effect play when they come in, they look too flat, like the circles that you absorb when you collect a power up. It's extremely frustrating trying to get the impossible badge when you just see your health go down and have no idea that you've been hit by a kamakaze cause it blended in with the other effects. =/
there's a speed modifier button in the bottom left of the game window people. Use it to speed the game up to 3x as fast. Also, there is a mute button in the Menu window once you're playing a map (would be great to have that moved to the main menu / accessible from anywhere). Great TD game with just the right amount of difficulty curve. Levels are a little on the long side even with the game sped up, but I personally don't mind it.
to get past the level 6 xp gate in level 4 you have to pause the game and quit to the menu. You can either play arcade mode or replay the first 3 levels to grind for the xp you need to make level 6 (xp is added cumulative across all levels). I imagine this is also how you get to level 9 to get through that gate, though the weapon offered there is easily available on the next map.
custom options (the advanced button) don't work. You can choose different lives and build time, but you will always end up with the default. 4/5. Needs co op like everyone else is saying.
there is definitely a good idea here, but it needs to be fleshed out more. Why are you tasked with killing cops if doing any kind of damage to them penalizes you? Not to mention the fact that there's no way to avoid all the other cars. You're penalized for hitting them as well, but yet the creator chose to tally the amount of cars and damage done and show it to us, as though they're taunting us, wanting us to do as much damage as possible. Needs better direction. 4/5 though.
construction level: shoot a hole in the oil barrel, shoot the thing holding the guy on the left's window closed (there's a line holding a darker line up to the right of the guy sitting in the booth on the left). Lastly, shoot the left line holding the beam up at the top, this should cause it to swing right, nailing the guy on top, causing his death and his cigarette to land in the oil at the bottom, causing an explosion and a heavy thing to hit the guy on the left.
