click and hold mechanism doesn't work. half the time when i click i get no circle and when i let go it takes one of my limited explosions away. it's too random to really be worthwhile. i love how this is "give badges to crappy games week" 2/2 of the buried treasure games are broken and need a LOT of polish, yet they were given badges anyway.
once you get the hang of the idea, i got to level 12 without a problem. had a tough time getting through 12, but then the same strat works to get through 13 and 14, 14 was very much a snooze fest. hard badge gotten, no real reason to come back to it. 4/5.
needs a mute button and I agree that keyboard controls are silly for a game like there where precision aiming is needed. Also, why do the enemy blocks get to go outside the bounds, but the player can't?
The thunder globe is crap unless you build it right at the beginning of the level. They're crap until they reach their max level (5 blue dots). At that point, their rate of fire is so high that they're better than any other weapon you can build.
have you 5*d the levels in easy, veteran, elite, or one of the other campaigns? To get the impossible badge you have to clear the big yellow balloon in elite and then again in the two campaigns that get unlocked (thunder globe and fuel of war). You also need the 10 mil in each of the campaigns (which should be easy if you're playing for rank).
GREAT game. Difficulty scales well and it's fun throughout (and just long enough). There were a few times where the controls became unresponsive (I hadn't pressed anything different, I just couldn't move or drop bombs until I clicked and fired again), but all in all, great fun from start to finish! 5/5!
has some interface issues, once you beat the game, you just get a blue screen with a sound toggle... there's no way to play again without refreshing the page. Also, the clicking to flip vs clicking to place a piece conflict with each other, making it somewhat more difficult than it needs to be. But, on the plus side, it's really well done for what it is. Difficulty curves upward nicely. 4/5.
very cool concept, kind of an "incredible machine" feel to it. Needs more levels though as it's kinda short... maybe a medium badge for finishing all the levels (I know that's not in your control.) 4/5.
Very fun, but I agree that there should be something to keep shapes from coming in at the same place. Most of my garbage was from trying to take down a large number (like a 50 or 75) and smaller ones getting in the path of my shot. It only gets worse once it happens once, too. (You get further towards the top and there's less space, so they come in closer.) Still 4/5 for concept and favorited.
lots of bells and whistles show a lot of effort put into it, but the underlying concept, the backbone of the game, is EXTREMELY boring. I would have never played more than one level of this (and probably would not have finished that level) if there weren't a card or badge associated with it. I have no intention of even getting the medium badge. Click and hold the mouse for 20 minutes at a time and build some stuff... super *YAWN* 1/5.
"credit gained" high score always shows mobs killed for me (the numbers for both scores are the same and they match the "mobs killed" in game stat. Very addictive.
good puzzle game so far, but the level 12 bug spoke about early got me too, you can get all the coins on the level, the score tally pops up for a moment and then level 12 just loads itself again.
