2/5 at present.
I really liked the concept, so I thought it was a pity you didn't implement it a bit better. A 'rubber' tool would be good so you don't lose all your drawing when you want to change your ship a bit. The “symetrical” feature xJem suggested would be really helpful, as well zoom, a a straight line tool and movable & pointable turrets. And bigger ships too, I don't want my death star to look like a peice of grit stuck on the monitor.
You could make the gameplay a little more complicated too, maybe a bit more arcade style with some enemy turrets and walls and things, and collision detection that works properly (just musing here). It's a good idea, now turn it into a good game.
(And I wanna sword anna rocket spaceship for christmas).
I really liked the graphics (obviously some effort was put in there) but I didn't really see the point. Maybe I'm just the wrong type of person. 3/5 (sorry)
1653173733 on easy, spent $511,977 which seems pretty cheap for two fussion cannons, a railgun and a giant sniper gun thing (not to mention a fairly sizable array of rockets, lazers, machineguns & tazer + lots of modifys )
It's a promising game, but it's far too slow. Some different maps and a bit of a storyline would help keep interest, some more types of enemies would be cool too.
I liked it although I thought the extra elements in SHIFT 2 made it a lot more complex (complex being good, you can have too much simple). It reminded me of portal but not to the extent that I thought it was a ripoff, they've got fairly different game play.
