Welcome back! While you were away for 2 years, your swarm produced:
41.7868 billion queens
11.6410 quintillion drones
2.16197 octillion meat
7.54579 billion larvae
284.347 trillion territory
nice, but I feel it wasn't challanging enough. I'm 75% through, and so far it has always been obvious what to do next. (Nor was it very tricky to do so.)
You really need to fix the lag. Seriously; that's the only thing which is keeping this game under 4 stars. It isn't just the graphics; something deeper's at play. I suspect a memory leak.
Even in low quality, the lag seems to build up over time. And it doesn't seem to just be the zombies on the screen; once I started over while under heavy lag and the opening cutscene was lagging just as hard if not harder.
I hate to say it, but perhaps there's a memory leak somewhere?
yeah if you play for long periods you gotta refresh the game. besides low quality, and turning zombie tints off in the options, others have said disabling hardware acceleration helped a lot for them.
I like this game, but I feel like there isn't enough variety in the mid-late game enemies. Some seas I wasn't getting anything but sea monsters... (I suppose this could be the point, but if so it should be said in-game.) Crew should probably play a role other than just for boarding, since later ships have too much defense for it to be worth it, since you have to feed and hire crew, in addition to spending grape shot. Perhaps if crew affected reload speed, with bigger ships needing more crew to reload efficiently.
there are still some tricks you can use to shorten the timer
