This WOULD be a good game, except it is buggy as Bealzebub on a picnic. I've had to restart from scratch 3 times now... so maybe I'll just come back when it's fixed, ok? (bug report submitted, btw)
Protip: Use afterburner to fly through an entire stage carpeting the floor with plasma. (Stages wrap around). Once all the floor enemies are gone, switch to laser and take out anything left!
Very entertaining! I played the whole thing through again on cool mode with all the options selected. I can say, 2x speed make those jets SUPER annoying!
Also: Die, puny humans! Die!
Ok concept. Both allies and enemies need better AI - for example, enemies will just walk into a wall while your allies shoot the wall from the other side - there's no path finding.
Cute concept, but very awkward to play. Try making the mouse control firing, and re-balancing the shields on the enemies. Some zoom control might be nice too.
This is definitely more of an art showcase than a game. A lot of the differences come down to "slightly different shading in this area", or are somewhat sloppy Photoshop effects. But you are not playing it for that - you are playing it to look at art. There is a good deal of high-quality fantasy art, I stopped after 60 do I don't know how many pictures are included in total.
After I solved the puzzle in Stay Calm, I stayed to listen to the whole music track. Wonderful! That is when I noticed the Rick animation looks like his heart is beating through his overcoat.
Also - great ending! Please make the sequel soon.
Good concept, but poorly executed. Upgrades are too expensive for the first few levels, making the beginning of the game challenging without being fulfilling.
Apparently there is no way to turn around, no enemies, nothing to shoot, and you can walk off the map onto a flat blue screen. Not such a great showing, here.
