Ok, to make the criticism a bit more constructive :) - here's what I think this game needs:
1) either remove gold prices from many things or reduce them drastically (by 80% at least). Definitely for troop sizes, spell slots and hero skills.
2) Remove the randomness from blacksmith. At very least, tiers should be respected, but ideally each item should have its own unique recipe, guaranteed to work. Otherwise, it's really a very painful grinding to get a particular item missing in a set. Also converting three items to higher tier should allow only items of the same type (or at least the same usage slot).
3) Performance is really abysmal.
4) Cut down on the levelup requirement for spells. Otherwise it leads players to do nasty tricks like start battle, spam spells, pause, restart, rinse and repeat.
5) We need at least some minimal way to control our troops in battle. To start with, at least tell the hand-to-hand fighters whether to hold ground or advance.
Oh, and please, developer, have you ever seen a machine gun? To know that one of the key things about machineguns is a big rate of fire? heck, this one of yours is only slightly faster than a bolt-action rifle... that's a huge disappointment.
4/5 with the only reason against 5 being the lousy grammar. Come on, guys, exporting the texts and mailing them to somebody to go over them for a few beers shouldn't be that hard.
And I don't mind the money collection thing... makes the game a little challenging by splitting your attention between money and bullet dodging...
With an autoclicker it's actually a nice game, but a few improvements would be very welcome:
1) Ability to toggle also forging, not just enchanting
2) Ability to select which resource to automine and which component to autoforge, and allowing us to manually produce something else
3) Click on an order should set the production appropriately
4) More variety in events please. Otherwise moneymaking is basically "mine stones when gorgon is in town", "make swords all the time" and "sell swords when gladiator games happen", later replacing stone with wood and near the end possibly switching to golden rings. Production/sale events should be randomized.
5) It feels very sad that there's actually no reward for completing an order other than getting the next level. Plus it'd be very nice if completing it on first appearance would give something extra.
6) Bank and market could do with a CLOSE button.
Seriously, both plasma and gem (candy drill) upgrade costs need to be seriously slashed. Unless one gets very lucky, 50 gems per run on red planet are the usual average - and with 550 gems per attribute, that's 33 games of grinding to get the drill to the max. After we've been through everything in the game.
Also the game should stress a bit that reaching the core with Hornet isn't going to happen :)
Actually getting to Kepler is quite nice.
Except the devs did a very lousy job regarding some things that happen afterwards :(
1 star deducted for lack of automation and 1 for the half-baked second half...
Please, add some (optional) semi-automation to the Research page, so that we don't have to manually remove crews from one task to assign to another.
I would imagine that we would set how many medical staff do we want to use WHEN there's somebody in need of healing, and the game would automatically take them from Research and/or mining. Similarly, when I click to send crew on a mission, why on earth can't the game reduce research crew for me, send them on a mission and reassign them back to research once they're back and healed?
I would love to see auto-switch to some weapon (even the pistol) when I run out of ammo. Plus, honestly, the interface looks a bit weird, the buttons could do with some borders.
And the progress could be a little faster (xp/money)... (as in 3-5 times faster).
Hey, how would the auto switch work?I was thinking in always go to the pistol when you run out of ammo.I will also change the buttons to something more appropriate.I am working in many things right now and I really hope you enjoy the next update. Thanks for playing!
nicely executed but a tad boring. Add some enemies that will move randomly or smartly, so that running around in a giant circle will not work so well...
This is certainly in my to-do list. Thanks for the suggestion and for playing!I hope to see ya here in the next update!
