Great! The style reminds me of the Fancy Pants Adventures, and the gameplay is simple but still a bit deep, giving you several effective options to take out enemies. The controls are precise and movement around the levels is not a pain. 5/5

I was thinking a three out of five, but the secrets section pumped it to a four. It was a great idea to include your concepts for each puzzle, and I thought the jokes were very funny! You racist.
I really enjoyed the writing, it was very clever. I actually laughed out loud at quite a few points. Great story setup as well. Like others have said, the only bad thing is that it takes quite a bit from other games in terms of gameplay. Personally reminded me exactly of Breath of Fire II.
A bit easy, but it was only a first chapter. The animation and music were both well done, and I hope you keep your promises of a stat table, equipment, etc. 4/5
P.S. This game has the craziest powerups ever! Bee swarms, missiles, laser beams, machine gun, bullet size increase, bullet distance projector... it's fun just thinking of names for them all!
