Ok several problems. 1) the depth perception in this game is insanely out of line. I get hit by a rock that looks like it's 5 meters away? 2) You can't jump when moving which limits your manouverability a lot. 3) When you jump you don't jump far enough or high enough to avoid most things. Overall, nice graphics, bad gameplay. 2/5.
josh01234 you did not make this game therefore it is stolen, no matter what you "aletered". The game is already on the site, easy to reference and is a popular game, therefore people know this is a stolen game. Flagged.
Ok, I played the game five times and I have several problems. 1) You start with a pitiful amount of ammo, barely enough to keep you alive until the next ammo spawn. 2) the zombies are too fast, I can't get to the ammo spawn because the zombies always tear me to shreds before I can get there. 3) needs a melee weapon so that once you run out of ammo you can still fight, seriously eight rounds is not enough to fight off the number of zombies that appear. 5) when you run out of ammo it's like the AI knows you can't fight back and sends loads of zombies to kill you. However, gameplay was smooth (if brief) and the graphics are nice. 3/5.
Nice game, the puzzles weren't too difficult to solve and were relatively easy to work out. A good game to play when you have 5 minutes to kill. Smooth graphics, good gameplay, 4/5!
OK, I completed "story mode". First off change "died" to "dead". Secondly, only call it story mode if there's an actual story to it. Finally, add more than two levels and maybe have some not-so-psychodelic backgrounds. 2/5.
Ok I got up to the hellhound boss, died, respawned and for some reason i couldn't fire my weapon, or even change weapons. Odd bug but apart from that the game is nice. A good variety of enemies and weapons and pretty smooth gameplay, though the "battlefield" is a little small. 4/5.
Barely played this game and I don't like it. ALL the sounds are ripped from Unreal Tournament, from reloading to people screaming. At least have original sound effects. Also, the game itself is just bland, it had no appeal to me whatsoever. However it does appear that a relative amount of time and effort was put into this so I'll give it a 3/5, average, but I wouldn't play it personally.
Most annoying, frustrating game I've played in a long time. Nice pixel graphics, nice sound effects, but could ya make it just a little easier? I got to level 10 and was stuck for ages trying to get through impossible jumps with acid rain blocking the momentarily free space that I had to get to because of the zombie chasing me. Every time I died it felt like the game was cheating. When I had a free space to jump to a drop of rain fell right on the only place I could go to which I had to jump to immediately or I got killed by either more rain or zombies! Difficulty is great in a game, but when you make it so that the player feels like they're being cheated on by the game itself then it goes too far. I got to the end though, and I like it, annoying as it is. 4/5.
I enjoyed this game, but the AI in survival seems all over the place. At first I can whale away at the first few enemies, they seemed to get progressively more difficult. However, when I restarted I got absolutely pounded on by the first guy! I dunno if I got lucky on my first try or if it's just how the game works, but it is quite annoying. However brilliant graphics, along with the Super Smash Bros feel of the game makes this a brilliant game. 4/5!
I just replayed the fina lpart to see this "new ending" and it was, again, a disappointment. It was too cliché to be effective and it really does look like it's been tagged on at the end...which it has. If you're going to put a new ending in, then not only can it not be rushed, but it also has to feel like part of the story. It's like I went through the entire game for nothing. The fixing of the "damage bug" has now just made the bosses laughable, I took out the final boss without even getting a scratch. This game is just getting more terrible the more you try and "fix" it. Either keep it as it is and make a sequel (or prequel) where you put in the suggested improvements, or delete this game and start again from scratch. This game is just all over the place in terms of atmosphere and story and this needs to be sorted out. Lowering my original score to 2/5 for what seems like half-assed "improvements".
I played the game through twice, once obeying the majority of it, and the other completely disobeying. While a very thought-provoking game the actual gameplay itself was quite difficult to use. The actual controls were very slippery, I felt like I was sliding all over the place and I ended up dying a lot of the time because of the precise jumps you need to make. The other part was disobeying, the colours made my eyes hurt and it made finding where I could and couldn't walk incredibly difficult to distinguish.
However despite the gameplay flaws I did find it a good game that encouraged me to play it through at least twice, the ideas are good and the graphics are smooth. I especially liked the "choose your own path" in both the text parts and the gameplay. If it weren't for the controls then I would give this a very high mark, but for now I give it 4/5.
This game has been stolen, whoever is downvoting these comments needs to actually get up and look at the credits, do you see anyone even resembling this guys username? No, also, if you go to newgrounds and play the game there, read the description on that the nread the one here...two completely different language styles.
