I had a similar issue as a couple of other posters. When the pre-loader has finished, there is just a small monkey on the screen looking sleepy - click anywhere and a Ninja Kiwi bubble pops up with a clickable link. Had to reload 3 times to get the game screen up. Not sure if anyone else has had the same problems?

As well as adding a best score for time, it would also be nice to add a score for number of deaths. Would certainly add to the replayability and be a tease for the completists.

An 'R' shortcut to reset the level would be great.

Hi Simon, just another couple of comments from me now I've been playing it - on and off - for a week or so. When you are transferred (especially in the middle of the season), I feel the player could benefit from taking a cut of the transfer fee, much like they do in real life (especially with the cost of energy being so high after the first couple of seasons). I also think that should a player reject a contract from another club, your boss, team-mates and fans' rating should be boosted significantly as a sign of your commitment to your current club (again a la real life). I've been smashing it all week on the iPad and on here, so you've got a devotee in me.

For anyone concerned about their energy levels, the best way to keep your money high, especially in the early stages, is to gamble in the casino. However, you must only play the slot machine. Its payout % is high (especially compared to the other games) and you'll win on average once every couple of spins. Occasionally you'll get a jackpot which pays out 20x your bet. This is how I got through the early stages without having to sit out games or play as a substitute. Give it a +1 to keep the comment visible. Brilliant, brilliant game by the way 5*

One way in which you could maximise your revenue stream through Kongregate and not upset the masses is to offer a discount to users on this site. We play the excellent demo, rate it high, increase your exposure globally, as a consequence, you give us a discount code to get the game at a Kong-only price. Perhaps the code could be integrated by randomly generating within the game and is only revealed after a certain achievement or playing time. Just a thought and a fabulous effort from you guys.

An reverse button which allows you a certain number of "undo last move" (maybe for different game modes in the future) would be awesome. +1 so the developer can see it, cheers.

I think this game is rated so low at the moment (3.51) because it's almost impossible to decipher on first play. I think an animated tutorial rather than the badly-phrased static intro we currently have would make it far more accessible. I say that, because once you work it out it's a really interesting, tactical game. It would definitely benefit - in terms of its replayability - from some a puzzle mode, or perhaps a mode where blocks move and stack from right to left in a Tetris-type style and the player must remove them before the screen fills up.

In my humble opinion this game is 50% "Music Catch" 2 and 50% "Please for the love of god put at least one more song on there or there'll be a grizzly, gruesome death in this house soon".

Having played a little more, it would be a nice touch to have the Blacksmith and the Jewel Shop linked with the marketplace, so instead of having to remember how many jewels you need to purchase and then go back into either the 'Smith or the Jewel Shop, you can click on an item and the game gives a message 'this will cost an additional xxxxx gold' - proceed? Would make purchasing far less fiddly.

A bonus perk point for defeating a boss would be a nice addition, especially as you have to use an awful lot of resources to defeat them (I did, anyway). Fun game, had a real old-school feel to it.

Guaranteed negative votes coming my way, but a lot don't seem to understand constructive criticism around here: It feels like a game with great potential, that is currently missing something. Whilst I understand it's billed as an RPG it is a desperately slow game - even with the advent of the money bar. It may seem that I'm missing the point, especially with the 'Idle' in the title, but it was a game that delighted and frustrated in almost equal measure. The quests and the goal to generate money is tedious in the extreme in the initial stages of the game. You fish, you wait for a good market price, you make a grand or two. What next? Well, until you've got a significant cash-flow, not a great deal. Fun game, but felt no more than a 4/5 game for me. Improvements to the game dynamic and diversity in the early stages would elevate this to a 5* game.

If you're considering a sequel, I don't think it would hurt to add an element of variety to things. If found that after half an hour's gameplay I was very much going through the motions, with regards to battle situations. When you have character options for those battles, often one of the characters is so powerful you can win in three attacks or less. Perhaps some mini-games and different ways of fighting would provide greater player stimulus. Very close to greatness.

Beautiful. The mechanics, tone and narrative delivery reminded me of 'The company of myself'. I think the 'philosophical, esoteric platformer' is a genre which developers should explore more if games offering this consistency of quality become more commonplace. 5/5

If I'm being thick, then please ignore this. However, one of the most infuriating things about the game - especially in the early stages, is doing a recruitment drive, clicking off the window by accident, and not having that recruitment search saved - i.e. you have to pay to do the same search again. You pretty much have to restart the game if you do that. Maybe something for the sequel? I still 5/5'd it though :)
