Grenade troops' first upgrade: "How about blowing zombies even easier with this upgrade?" 0_o I was just going to explode them, but I guess blowing them works, too...
You have to be extremely careful when making a demo, or putting premium content in a game, in order to avoid negative backlash from the players. See Legend of the Void 2 for an excellent example of how to implement premium content without causing nerd-rage.
I love the idea of this game, but a few things render it highly annoying. First, there are bugs everywhere. Second, manually moving units does not make sense in this type of game, especially since manually moving doesn't actually work correctly half the time. Third, the units badly need balancing--make a swarm of archers with a couple paladins in front, spam the heal spell, and win every time on hard without even losing a unit. Also, maybe some sort of 'Speed Up' option would be nice.
It is quite possible to achieve 110% slow, perhaps even higher, on a wizard. When hit by an attack from such a unit, creeps actually move backwards. Bosses in particular are rendered completely harmless. (Of course, by the time you are able to do this, you have several other ways to effectively deal with bosses.) However, >100% slow doesn't particularly seem to work with splash.
@cmelroy: No, that is actually correct. Momentum pushes the car in a straight line (towards the outside of the turn), so a car will lean the opposite way it is turning. You may be thinking of motorcycles, where you lean into the turn.
This is brilliant, and every bit as good as the original. The only part I don't like is the Monster Mode levels. I may be in the minority, but I think the game would be better without them. (or if they unlocked after completing the game, as in the original) Nevertheless, brilliant all around effort.
I -want- to love this game...but it's kind of difficult to tell, in the middle of a race, where I'm supposed to go. Color the track a different color or something, please... :(
