Frame skipping, also known as severe waste of computer resources, is abundant in this game. I've lost a level more times to the random frame skipping than me actually missing a jump. Also, quite difficult to guage your actual position from the perspective you view the game in (compound that with a lack of a shadow beneath the player). Overall 2/5, felt like another "get the card and go" deal. =x
This game really brings the lower denominator of the average population out. Horrid enemy ping times (better internet pl0x), hackers, and weapons with no real difference from each other or otherwise unbalanced. If I want a mindless brawl there's far better venues for those. 1/5.
The game was fun, but lo and behold the fireworks show at the end, apparently celebrating my not-so-great victory, freezes Firefox because it decides to hog up all CPU power to render said fireworks. Get rid of the fireworks, I don't want to get congratulated by having my machine having a meltdown. 2/5.
I was willing to rate this game a 4/5, but bugs got in my way. Selling an upgraded system sells *all* levels at once and does not place it back on the Buy list; I effectively lost my coolant (and thus my cannon) as I was short on cash for some better shields. 2/5.
The game itself is pretty fun and has a fitting atmosphere to it. Personally though, I found the game way too hard on my eyes due to the small size of the sprites and overall map. 3/5
Unlike the majority of "dress-up" games I've seen, I actually like this one. Looks and feels like anime too. Rather than a save feature though, I'd love it if there was an in-game transparent/one-color background feature for easier Print Screening. Sure, we could crop it out ourselves fairly easily, but small things like that go a long way. :) 4/5.
Lack of a quality control setting (yes, anti-alias is resource intensive to a point) and non-linear random difficulty of the levels included were an annoyance, personally. Game has a wonderful engine and concept, but it needs some more polishing. 2/5.
Like many others have pointed out, this game focuses way too much on perfect timing. The graphics and music were relaxing, but requiring the player to time his actions right, to the point of ridiculousness, broke that atmosphere. 3/5.
The cinematics were amazingly well done. The climax leaves something to be desired though; after getting the image that those stone heads meant business I was expecting to get off the planet with guns blazing. Still though, the game was fun. 4/5. :D
All I get is a simple arrow to shoot while I get flooded by enemy spawning from... what, 4 locations? Not to mention the terrain keeps blocking arrows in unlikely places. Not enjoyable at all. 1/5.
