Slick graphics and a good sense of humour, but the gameplay is just "circle strafe till everyone is dead(er), buy upgrades, repeat". Could do with more variety in location and some variation in the tactics: maybe grenades could blow the zombies backwards and stun them, but not do much actual damage, that way they could be used tactically to tackle big rushes of zombies.
*SPOILERS*
Is there any way to get the "Decontamination" achievement with also getting the "Lost In Space" one? I wanted to leave the ship intact for the rescue party as a warning, but with no crystal contamination so they couldn't misuse it. That seems like the "happiest" ending.
Great game, nice storytelling, good atmosphere and reasonable puzzles.
(I got the black screen crash a couple of times, but luckily it saves the game state just reload the page and continue the game)
Bit confused by the scoring mechanism.
I've won 163 games, lost 149, so my score is -92?
(and yes I'm not very good at this - I'm only really playing it for a quest)
Bourgeoisie (swans) achievement is much easier to get if you RESET your upgrades then avoid the Rabbit's Foot, Homing Beacon and Rain Dance upgrades. That way there are fewer greys to avoid.
Oh and PLEASE STOP SAYING OH IT IS JUST PICROSS.
They are called "nonograms". Go look in Wikipedia.
Picross is just the name Nintendo gave it's nonogram game. They are also called Paint by Numbers, Griddlers, Pic-a-Pix, Picross, Shady Puzzles, Pixel Puzzles, Crucipixel, Edel, FigurePic, gameLO, Grafilogika, Hanjie, Illust-Logic, Japanese Crosswords, Japanese Puzzles, Kare Karala!, Logic Art, Logic Square, Logicolor, Logik-Puzzles, Logimage, Obrazki logiczne, Zakódované obrázky, Maľované krížovky, Oekaki Logic, Oekaki-Mate, Paint Logic, Shchor Uftor, Gobelini, and Tsunamii.
Why is everyone complaining about the grid? It's only really a problem on the last four Grand Master puzzles. Everything up to 25x25 fits fine if you use the zoom.
@stormtrooperguy11: Easy? I don't think you're playing the same game!
Brilliant game! Excellent version of a classic with a nice theme and soothing music. The coloured tiles is a great addition. I wish there were more multi-colour puzzles though. Well done 5/5
Far too easy to get a Vanguard with 4 crew all with mithril and claymores and max attack/defence. Then it's just a slog from there. The missions are all pretty easy and the ghost ship is a joke. Wish it had a bit more depth.
Not bad but it would be better if you had to choose different ammo to hit certain parts - so the smaller rocks should fly further to reach further away targets, but they do less damage.
