Great idea for a game. Nice work.
No problem with glitches here, past robots did the right thing provided I didn't get in their way and alter the timeline.
Sinjid's Shadow (last boss) is bugging me.
I try to Disrupt him whenever he gets to 100 Focus, but sometimes it misses and then he kills me.
I'm a Guardian, I've re-specced and put everything into Speed AND put on the Paladin armour for the speed boosts AND I try to keep Sinjid crippled at all times.
Is there anything else I can do to stop missing or is it just dumb luck?
*Possible Bug?* When fighting Omen he sometimes gets 2 turns in a row, which means he casts Dark Omen and then kills someone without giving me a chance to defend.
I think this sometimes happens when I use Cripple on him.
Aargh 1431 on extreme.
I was doing fine, laser rockets, a long laser chain and nukes - until wave 128 when they suddenly got much much stronger and survived all my rockets.
Finally saved him.
*Tips*
Get him a blanket and a sink early on.
Try him in different jobs till he tells you which one is his favourite and then only make him do that one.
Try different foods on him. Donuts seemed to work well for me but not sure if it is random.
Burshing teeth, looking in the mirror, looking at the calendar all help build a work ethic but reading books helps too.
Once he gets a PC you can do courses.
Playing the PC game increases respect.
Don't hack the pentagon.
Find all the clues and get him to 100% rehabilitated before emailing the governor.
The *Fusion* tower is a bit annoying as the other towers fire at it continuously to charge it up. I had to turn the sound off because the sound-fx just turn into almost constant noise.
scratchy_seal:
there is a "loot all" button. When the looting screen appears there is a button called "Take All" which is selected by default - so you can just press X twice (once to "Take All", then a second time for "Done").
*Hint*: if you have trouble beating Moric in Social Foxes body, or beating the Zombie Dragon, then try using a Phoenix Down on them.
Pseudo: for chapter 3 could you try to improve the speed the map draws at? I refer to it a lot to make sure I get all the chests, but it draws in one line at a time from top to bottom and it is quite slow in the bigger areas.
Turambar: you have to press the reaction keys at exactly the right time. For offensive press it just before you hit them and for defensive press it just before they hit you (when you have the exclamation mark above your head).
That last Ace.. grrr..
Got it in the end though.
Good game - nice original idea making something fairly complex with such limited controls.
EvilMagicUser: eh? too long to load? took less than 5 seconds to load here - I think your connection might suck.
Bit too easy. Completed the challenge first go and only lost one life.
Lightning is definitely the best weapon as it is the easiest to use while concentrating on dodging shots.
For those that find the fights too hard:
Make sure your attack or ability is the right one to use against the enemies element (e.g. Air attacks really hurt Earth elements, Earth hurts Water, Water hurts Fire, Fire hurts Air. Also Dark hurts Light and vice-versa).
If this is news to you then maybe you should have read some of that text you are complaining about.
Good God, stop whining you miserable little ingrates.
"Duh, I don't like no fancy book reading. Nuh uh."
FFS the *whole point* of a good RPG is an unfolding __story__ and universe that you contribute to. If you don't read any of the text then you are missing the entire point of the game (and it probably explains why you suck at it too).
Aphlix: some games I hate, like Thing Thing, have badges (and cards). Deal with it. You don't need every badge.
rpgmaster2: just use Barrier Break if they use Mass Barrier.
Pseudolonewolf: don't worry mate, I think most people really enjoy it. Keep up the good work - looking forward to chapter 3.
