I realise that its a lot more complex than it sounds but the AI really needs work. My raiders die while framing areas that should be a cake walk because my healers get distracted by a butterfly and wander off to the other side of the map while my melee split up and chase after enemies on opposite sides of the map.
Just having the raiders AI tell them to all stick together would be a massive help on this.
Upgrading a character's attack and defense should have some visual effect on them. It'd make the game a lot cooler if the little machine gun got bigger and more awesome (with lasers and shit) as I upgraded it rather than just staying as a little pee-shooter.
The lag in this game really needs sorting out. Anytime anything touches the edges of the screen the whole game starts to lag. The level up screen in also incredibly laggy.
Decent game; nothing special but not bad.
However the incessant, unsubtle and unimaginative references really kill the humour. Also the last boss is really badly done; after he hits the halfway point of the map his model overlaps the model of the pillars and it becomes impossible to shoot them. After that its game over because you can't kill the summoned zombies fast enough to stay alive.
The drop chance passive doesn't seem to make any difference; I see pretty much the same number of items drops per mission (0 or 1) with it at level 3 as with it at level 9. Also the passive health and damage upgrade skills are totally pointless (an additional 62 damage when my hero damage is over 3000 isn't worth anything). Not to mention that increasing levels of the active skills don't seem to make much difference either.
You really should be able to afford basic, level appropriate gear without grinding missions. Gold in general is far too scarce considering the prices of shop items and the seriously low drop rate of non-garbage weapons.
It seems odd to me that the earlier investments cost so much more than the later ones at higher levels; it costs 12 septillion to get from 500 to 501 oil company but it costs 114 septillion to get from 400 to 401 newspaper delivery.
Anyone have any idea why that should be the case?
Could be a pretty good game but its about four times longer than it should be. Also the increases in Zombie health are far too extreme; going from being able to one-shot a zombie to it taking 3 or more hits in one discrete jump is ridiculous and makes you suffer for upgrading the gun and that utterly undermines the entire aim of the game.
Nathael Grim needs to either be removed of have its debuff altered because it makes it impossible for physical build monsters to beat him without wasting a massive amount of resources re-speccing to psychic. This is entirely imbalanced and unfair.
Excellent game. By far the best dialogue I've seen in a flash game. However the speed that you earn gold at really needs to be much higher, especially after wave 30, because 4-6 waves for a single upgrade is just too much.
A few issues:
At level 50 you have 2 skill points that can't be spent.
It is impossible (without sacrificing needed facilities) to fill all of the rooms because of a lack of power.
There is one spare room in the full station. Might be a good idea to let us turn it into a large power generator or something.
